We've stayed at the hotel about once a year for the last 6 years so I wasn't expecting much from the room conditions. After our previous stay I was hesitant to stay again since they began doing construction work early in the morning. I decided to give them another shot after seeing online that the rooms had been updated. We obviously did not get one of the updated rooms.
The carpet was nasty and littered with toothpicks and trash, the baseboards in the bathroom were rotting, the sheets smelled like bug spray, and the air conditioner vent blew directly at our heads while sleeping. For the same or cheaper prices rooms at the Hollywood, Gold Strike, and Horseshoe are nicer. Despite some good memories at the Roadhouse I will not be staying there again until improvements are made.
