It’s a good value and a nice stay for a downtown spot but definitely not a 4-star hotel. A lot of wear and tear in rooms and halls…when all the club lets out next door you end up with a bunch of drunk folks hollering which makes sleeping a bit of a challenge but I guess there’s not much they can really do about that. Maybe requesting a room not on that corner might be better for us next go round. Also the blinds/shades in our room were too small and let a ton of street light in which was annoying and felt like a cheap shortcut. Staff were friendly (minus the random housekeeping interruption well before check out) and helpful and it really is a cool spot just maybe a little over rated and not quite the standard you’d expect with a four star tag.

The hotel is beautifully renovated. The lounge, rooms and all of the common areas are gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to many restaurants and shops. It’s the only place I will stay in Roanoke.

My stay at this hotel was great! Amanda at the front desk was amazing !!! She made the horrible day and night I was having due to a horrible experience at another hotel in Roanoke VA I had before arriving at the Liberty Trust better from that point forward. Her kindness, willing to help me with my luggage (I’d just had a back surgery causing me to not be able to handle my own belongings well or not at all), her respectful demeanor, and simply ability to make me feel welcomed and comfortable meant the world to me in the moment in which it did that she was not aware of at the time. She’s wonderful! The Liberty Trust was clean quiet appealing beautiful and I will definitely stay there again.

This is one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot, as a former flight attendant. I’m obsessed with the copper/bronze doors. Very tastefully appointed, and I love all the period details like the old mail boxes on the walls. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend!
