Room was cheap... you get what you pay for! Room was old. Property was VERY large and not very well kept. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke.

Units where loaded with stink bugs, management told me that all hotels in this area was loaded with stink bugs. Went to Best Western down the street and it was cleared. Management was very disrespectful and told me that I must go through you to get my money back.

Dirty, broken curtains, horroble badly painted bight bright orange bathroom, old uncomfortable matress with a big dip in the middle

This was a very old and dated property. There was mold in the bathroom, the grout was missing on a lot of the tiles, dead bug squashed on the wall, it had a weird smell, the bed was not comfortable. I was very dissatisfied with this stay.

We where not happy with the whole experience. We purchased a non smoking room, that smelled of cigarette smoke, the bed was absolutely disgusting. There where both urine and poop on the bed when we got there, the shower curtain was covered in mold. a pool was advertised on the web site, and out front but it wasn't working. Hot tubs also advertised but not an accurate advertisement. A full "breakfast buffet" was also advertised but all that was supplied was cereals. We will not be going back to this location!

Filthy rooms, especially the bathrooms. The room rate was inexpensive, but considering the condition of the rooms, it was very overpriced.

Nice room. You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean room

Room was decent but smelled of cat urine, not terrible but not great. Service was good and the free breakfast was very good. Unsecured WiFi provided and worked well.

We were told a full breakfast and we got eggs and waffles. Cereal and bagels.

Bed was comfortable, but the shower was very dirty. The front desk didn't collect the $10 pet fee and called at 11pm waking me up to inquire on payment. There had to be a better way to handle that! Was just expecting more from a Wyndam property.

If you’re hiking the AT, then this place is pretty chill. All the hikers come here orig across the street to the Super 8. It’s walking distance of the grocery store and outfitters and a few restaurants. The bathroom floor was always wet for some reason and the walls are pretty thin though. Staff was super kind and accommodating too. But the breakfast “buffet”, while an all you can eat, didn’t offer much. Just some instant eggs and bagels and cereal. Who eats eggs without at least bacon or sausages or the such?

It’s a great place to stay when you travel with pets. The king bed is the way to go for sure. The room it self is nice and needs some minor updates.

I stayed here overnight on the way from Memphis to D.C. The price was reasonable, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was included and was fine and the staff was friendly. They also had a small exercise room which helps the circulation in your legs after driving all day. (600 miles in my case) Salem is just minutes away with nice places to eat. I make this trip often and this will be my mid point stay from now on as it is less expensive than Salem. I would recommend this motel.

The amenities were decent and the sheets were very clean. Would stay here again

Room was clean. But a bit shabby ...food was good for breakfast .. asked for extra pillows but was told no they didn't have any extra to give out

Front desk staff were pleasant, but that is the only positive experience with this hotel. I travel a lot and understand you get what you pay for and don't have very high standards when it comes to hotel rooms but this room was by far the most disgusting and unpleasant experience I've ever had. The room was full of kissing beetles/bugs. It seems when housekeeping cleaned they left the door open after a storm (is my guess) because as soon as I stepped in the room, I could see little brown beetles all over the windows and walls and lamps. While I was sleeping, I could feel the beetles flying around my head and landing on me. The phone in the room was broken, the ice machine for all rooms was broken and the plumbing in the bathtub were broken. The hot water in the bathtub ran all night and could not be turned off, the spigot in the wall had broken. There was a large amount of trash under both double beds from what seemed to be many other occupants. The bed sheets had black mold. It was a filthy experience. There is a "continental" breakfast, I got there fairly early, around 7 and all the cooked food was already completely cold and inedible, I ended up just having cereal and a muffin. I was only there one night while driving through the state and essentially needed a place for a few hours sleep, otherwise I would have demanded a refund and gone to another hotel. There are many other hotels in the area, stay at one of them

Hotel staff was friendly. Room was ok, it could use some updating . We used it just for a place to sleep, so it served it's purpose.

There was a convention in Roanoke so there were no rooms available. The Howard Johnson was comfortable but old and worn. The front desk was nice and the price was great! Free breakfast.

We were only there for 12 hours wasn't the cleanest bathroom dingy
