Nice stay. Hotel is very suitable for kids. Friendly people.

This was my second time to this resort (last time was 13 years ago). I would rate this trip not nearly as high as the previous one. There were some new things, which were nice. But overall the trip was a pain. The room was supposed to be decorated for my husband's birthday on arrival...it wasn't. We were put in the main lobby building on the far side by the parking lot. The room did not have balcony (only a window) and was very far away from all other guests. We did one time see someone in our hallway about half way through the trip. All of the juices and cocktail mixers are sweetened with Stevia and have a noticeable artificial sugar taste...that really cut down on what I could drink. The resort staff always seemed nice and inviting, especially servers and bartenders. The constant time share pitch is exhausting. The food was just okay...definitely not as good as other places we have been. We really enjoyed the Seafood restaurant and Pacos Tacos. Go early to dinner or you have to wait a long time and will just end up eating at the buffet. The best part was definitely the snorkeling! It was gorgeous! We ended snorkeling about every day in the adult pool and in the open water right beside that pool.

Was great vacation, enjoyed the beach and all the nature around. .........

Resort itself is okay, but the system of the resort is not very comfortable to be. Also timeshare thing or membership waste our time there. Staffs there are not very friendly or passionate about the customer. I think there were less worker than work so that staffs were not that happy

Was a great experience all around. We basically did our own thing and when a worker wanted to "show us around" we just said we were hungry and left to go eat. The buffets are pretty decent as far as buffets go. The restaurants aren't bad at all but go 30-45 minutes early to reserve a space. Vegan options at every restaurant. The late night tacos and pizza were probably the best food options. You can tell the hard working waiters and everyone there really appreciated any tips no matter how small. Plenty of room in the pools and around the lagoon. We didn't see it until the last day but one of the room channels shows you the activity schedule for the week between a few Xcaret ads. The shows every night at the stage were random but pretty entertaining. The sports bar was pretty uneventful and opened too late for day games. The club was what you'd expect. The lobby bar had the best margaritas. Victoria was the best beer option. Grabbing a drink and exploring the grounds at night was fun. Once (and only once sadly) we saw monkeys in the distance swinging around and it was pretty rad. The fish in the lagoon were pretty chill too and they would only bump into you once in a while. We arranged a shuttle to the airport the night before leaving at a desk across from the front desk. I'd say using cabs to and from Playa Del Carmen would be the best option for coming and going to the hotel. It's far from the road and the main entrance of Xcaret where collectivos and buses go.

I would easily rated above average, if my interaction with few stuff members wouldn't destroy good feelings. They lie to your face and try to make you feel guilty after. Orbitz rep selling tours offered discount price, but charged full price 2 minutes later without any logical explanation. Stay away from any offers and free gifts for "VIP breakfast" or "hotel tour". You will give away 2 plus hours of your vacation dealing with salespeople which don't understand "NO"

We had a wandeful expirience, we would like to come back, and tell to our family and friends about it.

I overall loved our stay here, and the park. The food was the best food I've had at an all inclusive resort hands down. With the exception of the lady who checked us in, the staff was amazing, sooo nice and funny. I wish we had more time to experience everything. Only two complaints. 1. The $920 hotel credit that came with the package we booked is not a credit it is a discount, and should be stated as such. I was pretty upset about the mislead. 2. The last two days of our trip our bathroom had an awful smell coming from it. I had a similar experience in Chihuahua, and I know it's just a matter of how the plumbing is ran in Mexico. So just make sure you get a top floor room. Everything else was great though, the adult pool was awesome, as were the other pools. And we only had one day where getting drinks was slow. Excellent.

Love the staff friendliness and the beauty of the nature all around. If you love nature, this is the place to be at. The surroundings are always alive with animals passing through, specially monkeys. The food is delightful and there are plenty of options. However I would love for them to ease up on the dress code for men at the specialty restaurants. Overall Fantastic!

We had a great time in Xcaret. The room was great which they cleaned and changed the linens every day. The food was good and the hotels nicely kept. The food menu was pretty diverse for everyone's taste. I would definitely consider coming back as my little ones enjoyed the grounds and pool.

Only problem was the mattresses are too firm, but the room was clean and stocked with drinks, a/c was nice and cold. I would definitely go back again

Amazing!!! Perfect for my family. We enjoyed our stay away from home. We would definitely go back

Most of the staff was nice, some not so much.. food was ok not great. We loved the Hotel Scenery and our room.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice all the staff were while we stayed at the resort. We were greeted by macaws and monkeys. The river that flows through the resort makes you feel like you are in Italy. The food was great, and very fresh.

Nice people good shows and good food beautiful pools a lot of animals

Breathtakingly beautiful grounds. Not pretentious palacial facilities like a lot of resorts but functional comfort that compliments surrounding nature. Large resort requiring a lot of walking even if utilize shuttle service. Access to beach, beach buffet and restraunts requires stairs no elevators or ramps to all facilities. Animals roaming the grounds, we encountered deer, iguanas and monkeys. Our favorite was the beach although small it is an inlet so water and waves not rough, clear water with several different types of fish swimming around your feet. We traveled with twin toddlers so unable to expetience all resort had to offer. Staff very accomadating to our children. Nice clean safe cribs upon request at no extra charge. Booked deluxe room with Xcaret package which highly recommend, a great value as each adult admission is $100+ USD entrance per day. We were able to walk in and out of the park as often as we liked during our stay with 3 easy close accesses 2 walking and 1 boat ride, does not include food in the park but close enough to return to resort for meals. Can't comment on specialty restraunts ate only at buffets. Some food was realy bad but had such a variety was able to find something we liked. Fresh fruits great, vegetables good. Had a grill with different variety of raw beef, chicken, pork, fish, shrimp you can have grilled to order. Also pasta and stir fry bars. Did not have any good desserts, all looked good but had absolutely no flavor.

The room's always seem to have a musty mildew smell it made been a combination of the products that they use or the freshness of the towels either way you get what you pay for

The salted pool is and incredible experience, it has fish and right next to the Ocean, the hotel feels like being in a jungle and we adored that. Food is good, not spectacular; we spotted two death roaches in my room. The shows they offer were stunning, great group of artists and the hotel staff kindness made our stay an incredible pleasure. The internet sucks, you will have no reception from your provider and even the paid service is slow.

Although the hotel is beautiful and we loved the grounds our stay was seriously disappointing because of the food besides the specialty restaurants. Even the specialty restaurants were a pain because my husband had to wear pants and closed toes shoes when his dress shorts and button up shirt were much nicer than the jeans, sneakers, and biker t-shirts other guests were allowed to wear in the restaurants. If you have a dress code it should be resort casual and not biker casual. The beach area was nice and the service was generally very good. Another downside were the timeshare solicitations. People would act nice and interested and then the sales pitch would come. Very bad taste in my mouth and not at all what I would expect from a 4 star rated resort on Orbitz.

ENJOY EVERYTHING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY HERE. ONE PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE COVER SHEETS AND BLANKETS WERE ALWAYS HUMID.
