I will recommend this hotel, we have a great time there.

Front desk staff Rude, yelled at my wife not willing to help her exchange money. Also no king beds, requested to be moved they said will see and never called us back after 2hrs. Dealt with 5 different people at the front desk some were polite while lying to your face and not doing anything about your concerns. the others flat out rude and not helpful, asked to speak with supervisor who wasnt willing to see me or explain why there were problems. No internet service, no one explained it was limited to a small area in the lobby however password did not work so wasnt helpful. Lastly shuttles did not run @nite after being told them ran until 11pm.

The service here was the best we have had in the islands after 25+ trips. The bartenders are very attentive. They and their managers should be proud of how hard those guys worked so we could enjoy our time by not waiting for service. The beach isn't the best as it's a lagoon, but the pools are great. Beach is great for kids though. The food was very good and the ala carte restaurants were all great and if you get there before 7, no waits! Even the other guests were nice.

Great Hotel in the perfect location with a lot of activities for whole family. The only hard time was to figure out where exactly those activities were.

I naver have that bad experiences this hotel. I nave tell any my friends staying that hotel .no service. .no room clean. And any more but I think they screwed my vacation. .. In the room bug ...and not many employees help full.. Sorry I have to say naver ever staying this resort any where...

Great location (attached to Xcaret, which is absolutely astounding) will keep you and the family busy for a week or more. Food is really lame, especially at the supposedly "higher end dress code" Restraunt's, which having a dress code at an Oceanside water park themed resort blew my mind, when coming back from the day in swim wear and such, had to go back to the room, which can be quite a walk, shower, change to dress clothes and walk all the way back to the Restraunt you passed to go change; to get in? After walking and swimming all day... really a let down. Buffet is ok but gets old quick. This is a timeshare, or as they say "sort of like one, but different", we got pressured... rooms are worn, but nice. We had 3 rooms, some got bath robes, some not, rooms were not prepared the same, things were forgotten. Rooms need repair. Swimming lagoon is small but cool. The 2 pools are huge and very nice. Not much for hype, pretty much on your own and not much going on after hours. We spent most of our time at Xcaret. I personally would rate this resort experience because of the restraunts and disarray a 3 star hotel.

To much pressure from the staff to purchase a timeshare... Overall the majority of the staff was very helpful.

The hotel itself is very dirty it looks like they cant keep up with the maintenance. Sections of the hotel are mold infested and air conditioner in many rooms broken. The food selection is nonexistent. Unless you like seafood, you will not like the food. The burgers and pizzas were terrible. Coffee always cold in the morning, and no food selection at all. Only two restaurant buffets bcuz main restaurant is under construction. There is construction everywhere. There are numerous ruins on the premises which for us made our stay pleasurable, trails and wild animals roaming free are a unique exerience. Swimming at the beach is a must, the fishes swimming freely around you are amazing. We did the unlimited xcaret. At 177USD per person, Which I believe was worth every penny. The park is over 6 miles so we did a section of the park every day. We packed a small back pack with water and snacks for our daughter and even beer for us. We did not pack towels, as I didn't believe they were necessary, it often rains and the towels get soaked and it is hot enough that you dry off just by walking around the park, whenever you get hot, jump in one of the underground rivers and cool off. We rented a car and found this to be the most convenient way of getting around. TULUM is a must, they have the ruins by the beach and the water is amazing. We also drove up to chichen itza and took the local route...we saw a lot of amazing little towns and felt we were emerged in the culture

Nice hotel. I love being able to just walk to the Xcaret Part. Customer service was great.

Liked the hotel, the food, the staff could have been a little nicer. If you're looking for beach fun, this is not the place, for there is only a tiny beach area. The restaurants were good, wish there would have been more variety at the buffets. Overall the stay was nice, but I want more beach, therefore I would not stay again.

Many prohibited places if you're not a member. Mediocre food and drinks. Rude employees prohibiting you to leave premises. Loud noises from construction. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

This was a very nice hotel but it is very big. They have a shuttle service which we never ended up taking but you get used to the walking. The man made beach was beautiful and there were so many pools. It seemed like it was never ending! Food is pretty bland/standard and lunch was pretty much the same at the buffet and snack bar every day. The a la carte restaurants were decent but nothing to write home about. The only thing that was very annoying was the timeshare staff that wanted you to listen to a presentation and sell you their timeshare. They were VERY pushy and insistent and when you said you weren't interested, some were very rude. I understand they were doing their job but no means no. If i wanted to listen to a presentation, I would've saved myself the thousands of dollars that I spent for a family vacation and gone to work to do the same thing. Also-- a lot of mosquitoes which is a given since this is in a jungle. Bring lots of deet! I sprayed myself every day/night after a shower and wasn't bitten too badly but I saw lots of people with crazy mosquito bites.

My wife, 2 girls (8&6) and I visited this hotel for spring break 2016. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is situated in the middle of jungle which is pretty cool since you see tons of iguanas, deer, birds, and even monkeys. We had a basic room with 2 "queen" beds. They were not queen, but full and quite hard. A little tight for two adults. Otherwise, we were pretty comfortable with a quiet and powerful air conditioner. The shower was huge with great pressure and hot water. The maids did a very good job of keeping our fridge stocked with beer, water, and pop. They also did a very good job cleaning the room. We tipped them $40 pesos/day, even though tips were included and often found extra water or toiletries. The food was great. The buffet had minor changes daily. There were 5 sit-down restaurants. The best in our opinion was the International one with their antipasto bar which was amazing. The Asian was a close second with the fish in a close third. The steak house was not the same quality of USA steaks houses, but was still very good. The Mexican restaurant (ironically) was the worst of the five, but still good. Don't forget the free premium tequila tastings there. The pools were very nice with good chairs and plenty of towels. There is everything from a crowded "fun" pool to a relaxing pool. The beach is not very big. Because it is in a cove it is very calm for kids. Even at 8:30 all the front chairs are "reserved" with towels. I hate that.

Great location. Lots of activities. Great staff. Mediocre food and beverage. Great for kids.

Good hotel, the only downfall is that there is no room service and you have to do a lot of walking, but other than that good hotel for the price.

Great experience, but the staff should be friendlier than it is. Very average 4 stars hotel

Go for the excaret included its worth the money and the experience unforgettable!!!

Our room was great. Staff was helpful &friendly. Food was good. Lunch at the beach restaurant was nice and the ocean view was relaxing. Favorite restaurants were Sonora grill & LA hacienda. The best entertainment was Il Divo, a trio of singersvwith superb voices. I got chills from their singing. They did Nessum Forms & they hit all those notes clear & long. What a treat! Check in & check out were a breeze. The WiFi is lacking. It is hard to get on and the keyboard in the business center is a weird shape, design & some symbols are missing. They should make WiFi easier and free. Also get new keyboards, I got bit up quite a lot from bugs. How about spraying. I would come back in a heartbeat but I will bring bug repellent and anti itch spray

Overall great hotel. Beach is quite small and muddy though. First my son, then I got food poisoning, we believe the reason was fried pork.

Stayed here for a week. Staff was friendly and the resort was great. We enjoyed the man made beach inlet.

Deaf fv, We want to thank you for the feedback you are providing. We are sorry that you did not enjoy our culinary offerings. We are very surprised to hear that you did not have a liking to our resutants as we have buffet style and A la Carte restautants. We are at the moment renovating, this is something that has been noticed since the beginning of the year, we are sorry that you did not get this notice. Our buffet now is being offered at Club de Playa. We have always had two buffet options to enjoy. Nevertheless, we will share your comments with the Food & Beverage Manager to keep improving our services. Regarding the cleaning of the resort, we have staff who is working hard to keep our grounds in good condition for our guests. We will take your feedback as encouragement to strive for excellence. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with the vacations you deserve. Best regards,
