Did not like view. Was willing to pay $300 for room 8430 but they also wanted us to listen to a time share which my husband would not do so I was very disheartened that I did not get the room. That is the only thing I was upset about.

We went to Now Jade for our Anniversary. We had a bottle of chilled champagne waiting in our room Staff was great and always helpful. We tried the restaurants and all were above average, especially since we could order from a menu. Water was beautiful, well kept beaches. The only thing that was a drawback to our visit was the pressure that the VIP preferred group of associates placed on all new visitors to the resort. Otherwise, we will go back and recommend this resort to others.

Todo del hotel me fascino.quiero destacar a alvaro un trabajador de la piscina el es magnifico en su trabajo y su atencion me cautivo.

I had my wedding at this hotel and I must say it was a dream come true. This hotel surpassed my expectations.

I loved the staff super nice and friendly. The rooms where not clean and the jacizzi was super dirty. The bars close at 1am and the pools at 7pm so not very convenie t. The restaurants where really nice decor amd food was great. The buffet lacks of air conditioner so is very uncomfortable to eat there

I love the hotel view amd the staff is terrific all of them are awesome and do make your stay memorable. I hated the buffet, the food is not good and the place is super hot.

Overall the hotel and staff were nice, except for the concierge lady who tried to push us into a presentation. One bad experience is that I had some jewelry taken out of the room the night before we left, not realizing it until we got home, but that was the only night we had turn down service and neither one of us remember packing it in our bag. The hotel has not been trying to rectify the situation even after calling and emailing them twice. The food at the hotel is excellent. The buffet is great and they have many specialty restaurants to choose from. The bars will pour you top shelf of you ask. The beach was good and the pool always seemed to have plenty of chairs available (people are not allowed to save chairs all day and if they aren't around, their stuff will be taken and turned into lost and found.) If the jewelry situation is at least acknowledged, I would go back to this resort.

Awesome, staff, awesome food, will definitely recommend to friends!

clean, fun, friendly! staff was amazing. restaurants were great

The hotel had overbooked and transferred us to their upscale partner for free.

Me and my wife travel 2-4 weeks a year. The food was for the average. I would say it's like a country buffet. We expected good steak and sea food but yet never saw it. I Am a goose drinker ( vodka) and I saw them pour from the bottle yet it never tasted the same. I was under impressed with the drinks. Below average for this. The customer service was ok in spots. The preferred club I would expect as higher treatment but no go. I usually don't write reviews or even read them because I want to have my own opinion. If this is your first vacation to a resort like this you won't know any better but if you have traveled before don't get to excited about this one.

First lets get through the Pros: The location as great, right off the beach. The hotel staff was really enchanting and easily available. The room was clean and the maid kept the fridge full of soda and water (no hard drinks). The food was ok, nothing extravagant. Now to the Cons: We asked for the honeymoon package, but did not receive it. Upon arrival, we discovered a 2 lizards in our room. However, its Mexico and you should expect to see some wildlife. There was also the smell of sewage, the entire trip. The smell would get so awful, that it would wake me and my wife up in the middle of the night. The smell was due to the hotel cleaning the seaweed from the beach. Overall, the trip was ok. In a few months, this will be a beautiful place (once the seaweed is cleaned from the beach and the smell is gone), and the renovations are complete.

The hotel was great, pool was the best and the food was very good. But one big disappointment was the beach which was full of seaweed and was not able to use it.

Great hotel. Kids loved it!! Tons of things to do. Food was great!

Great vacation. Stayed in Preferred Club which I highly recommended. Private lounge with free wifi great!! Kids club was awesome for our 3 year old. She did want to leave when we came to get her. Food awesome!! Rooms were huge!!! Considering going back even though there are hundreds of different choices in rivera mayan because we liked it so much!!!

Internet wasn't included with the standard room when I visited so I upgraded to the VIP rooms. The added benefits like a welcome bottle of champagne, balcony jacuzzi, catered VIP lounge with fully stocked with top shelf spirits (non-VIP drinks are like water), and made my stay vastly better. Caution its easy to gain weight with the abundance of delicious food they provide. Not very singles oriented, more geared towards families.

Everything was great, only complaint would be that the beach itself wasn't spectacular or anything. Lots of seaweed gathering on the beach and in the water--no clue if this is a year-round problem or not, but in our case we aren't all that big on swimming in the ocean anyway so it didn't matter to us one bit. Everything else we loved about the place.

The facility is very beautiful although the staff was not friendly, accommodating or helpful. I will never stay at this chain again.

We had a wonderful time at the Rivera Maya resort. It seemed that at every turn once we arrived we were being sold something at the resort. After a full day of travel that is the last thing you want. Other than that the staff was very friendly and very customer service focused.
