We had a brief stay on the tale end of a trip throughout Mexico. Dreams Tulum was the perfect place to end our adventure. Staff is excellent - most notably, Daniel our poolside server for three days.
Wonderful! Fantastic amenities and incredible staff. I would go back in a heart beat.
As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and at home. The hotel is always kept clean and well organized. Their entertainment is thrilling and their food is delicious. The ocean view is beautiful. Definitely looking forward to my next stay.
This place is a nightmare Extremely overpriced No value for the expense
Everything about this resort was great except that they didn't have lifeguards posted at the swimming pool and a drowning tragedy could have potentially been avoided had there been one posted. Other than that, the place is amazing, the staff is friendly and accommodating, when they're not trying to steal your belongings, and the amenities are abundant, but costly. The food is is typical for an all inclusive resort, decent but nothing to write home about.
This vacation was amazing. Great staff, service, amenities, etc. The only disappointment was the rocky water. Everything else made up for it and we found water we loved after a 10 min walk along the beach. Amazing, secluded place! Our family (kid friendly) had a blast.
First time at a dreams hotel. Room was very nice but we did not have hot water in the shower. We mentioned that several times to the front desk but they said that was the standard temp. I thought that was unacceptable. Food was horrible. Nothing was fresh and all the meat and seafood was pre frozen and in low quality. The beach was amazing and the stuff was very friendly. We were offer different deals throughout our stay and when we didn't show interest they immediately dropped the price on those to try to get us to buy them. Made Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not visit this chain again.
We had a great time. Wide selection of food. The explorer club is great if you leave your children with them, otherwise you will have to find out when it's opened.
The most amazing and thoughtful staff that I have experienced in any of my travels. The little touches were never ending from a simple greeting to turning down the covers at night. The food was good and displayed very nicely. (If you are looking for gourmet type meals, that I did not experience. My son is a Certified Executive Chef and considered the food quality as fair.)
Friendly staff, good atmosphere, beautiful beach - it's a nice getaway for families, couples or friends
Nicest hotel and overall stay yet! 4 star food and accommodations.
Not sure who they paid to be considered a 5 star hotel, but it's a 3 at best. For a VERY expensive hotel we had a tiny room that was filled with bugs; tried 3 restaurants the first night that were all disgusting and got food poisoning and had to eat off resort the rest of the trip; and found the location is a 20 minute / $20 cab ride from the nice part of Tulum which means we spent a fortune getting around. Our friends came as well and were scammed into a much smaller room then what they paid for online and had to fight for 3 hours to get a better room. No elevator in our building, and did I mention how God awful the food was? Even the breakfasts were terrible. The pool closes at 8pm. The ocean is all crusty reef they don't let you swim in except for one tiny section of beach which is PACKED with people. They charge $50 a day for the beds on the beach. Massages are $200 an hour (for Mexico?!? LOL). We were covered in bug bites from things in the room. Management didn't care. They advertise premium liquor, but guess what - it's only in one small inside bar, which is a trek from the pool to go - otherwise you are drinking bottom shelf all weekend. Ruined our trip - DO NOT STAY.
My family and I were there from Chicago for vacation and had the time of of our lives! One of the most amazing things at night especially coming from a big city, was being about to clearly see stars. We relaxed by the pool, went to beach, got massages on the beach, had a great time at the foam party on Saturday and dancing at night. We didn't stop there! We also did the most awesome tour that included ATV rides, zip lining and snorkeling in a cave! The entire staff was amazing with exceptional hospitality. I would recommend the resort to everyone! Definitely worth it!
The hotel wasn't horrible , but does need an uplift. The drinks are not great. One of the main cafe was closed limiting the food options.
I went with my son and we had a blast. Food was ok, not as good as some other all-inclusive in Cancun that is for sure, but i didnt break the day. Drinks were watered down. I had 24 mojitos in one day and didn't feel a thing. Im one of those guys that with 4 beers is already tipsy so that is the only shame. Great beach, great place, ifi drinks
We were there for a family wedding and overall the experience was pretty good. The hotel was nice and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating!
Mediocre food, weak drinks poor beach for swimming. Staff was friendly. Had cash stolen from room. Would not recommend this resort to friends. 20 years ago this place may have been ok. Main pool water was very green. Not conducive to going in.
A very nice hotel with a beautiful ocean to look at. The grounds were beautifull also The food was very good.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't like that they bombarded you will redeeming your hotel credits. Food was terrible. Everything looks and taste the same after two days...
