We didn’t know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful inn. We were warmly welcomed by Gail upon arrival and shown around the property after registering us. Our room, the common areas - lounge and pantry - and the outdoor spaces were very clean and well maintained. Our bed was comfortable and the linen smelled fresh. One of our favourite areas to stay and relax in was the lounge. We had our coffee from the pantry while enjoying the calm and chill atmosphere of the lounge chairs. It was absolutely refreshing to be able to relax in a space other than our room. We loved how easy it was to take a short drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake historic downtown and as well as Niagara Falls downtown. The best part: we could leave the craziness of so many tourists behind when we went back to the inn. The South Landing Inn is a total keeper for those who are looking to step back into a cozy, serene and beautiful space. Looking forward to our next stay!

The construction noise was quite intense, but the staff moved me to a room away from the noise without any fuss.

Staff were all very kind and helpful! LIV restaurant was always another level of service as well.

We had a wonderful stay & Woolf he happy to stay again. Yvonne was a gracious host, serving a lovely hot breakfast each morning. I was traveling with my aunt who had some medically related needs and Yvonne made it clear she was there to help, gave us extra supplies and towels and made us feel so very welcome. She also shared her local knowledge of the area. The inn itself was recently redecorated with lovely furnishings, art, and beautiful wallpapers. Our room (Bernard Shaw Room) was spacious and the bed was so comfortable! My aunt and I shared the oversized king that has a memory foam mattress which prevents one from noticing movement of the other - we slept like rocks! The only improvement I might suggest would be better internet connection, but I wasn’t there to work so it was okay. Beautifully done, quaint/updated, comfortable, great breakfasts, excellent host!
