The room itself, meaning general cleanliness and for me always the most important aspect, the bed was great. But upon check-in, I was informed that there was not going to be any hot water. I was offered a "free cancelation", to compensate for this. After a full workday and then a seven hour drive and a tired check-in at close to 11pm, this is not satisfactory. I also reached out to the manager and got absolutely no response. A 20$ discount or voucher for a future start at one of the partner hotels or c something like that would have been what I expected, coming from someone who works in a hotel himself. I understand sometimes the hot water doesn't work, but clearly something better than "free cancelation" could have been offered, instead of me having to find another place to stay in an area I don't know at close to midnight on a day as described above. .

I gave a low rating based on how poorly the situation was handled about the issues that took place while I stayed there from 12/27-12/29. The main issue that I had was finding a roach in the shower and upon requesting a refund, I was told that I would get a partial refund for that day and a full refund for the next day as long as I checked out right then and there.
