Lovely stay in Botafogo. Larissa at the front desk was very helpful, as was all of the staff. We were lucky to have a corner room with a gorgeous view of the bay and Sugar Loaf. You can see Christ from the rooftop, which has a bar and food and a pool. Easy to Uber anywhere from here. There are Nespresso machines in the rooms with a charge per pod. We would stay here again!

We had a great stay! The view is amazing. The front desk staff was excellent and provided recommendations of where to eat. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful. Clean room, specious, incredible view of Sugar Loaf and the Bay. Roof Top Bar staff Ivan, Diego and Junior were an absolute delight! Breakfast was delicious, splendid and plenty to choose from. Vanessa was a gracious host and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The view from the Roof Top was my favorite area with a spectacular view.

Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful! Special mention to Gabriel at check-in who was just a star and Ivan in the rooftop restaurant! The view of the beach from my room was stunning! Decor pillows on bed were very old and gold frame of bedhead was stained/rusted. Mirrors (both eall and lighted small beauty mirror) were dusty/not properly cleaned. Also the light on the beauty mirror was not working.

Considering Rio standards, this is a good hotel. The rooms are fairly modern, and the rest of the facilities are exactly what you would expect at this level. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Rio. The neighborhood was also very pleasant – much less touristy than Copacabana, which made the stay feel more authentic and relaxed.
