Patio was huge. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and just as easily wake up to it. Very rustic and secluded.
Absolutely loved the balcony over the edge of the ocean. Loved listening to the waves all night long. The place was very spacious and the kitchen was great. We cooked most of our meals while we were there. Will be back next time we go to PR.
We stayed for seven days and the room was never cleaned nor were we given clean towels in that time. Parking was horrible and there is not enough room for all the vehicles that park there. Would definitely not stay here again.
Due to the past hurricane still lose of electricity at times - there’s emergency lights, so can get hot and no internet, but the closeness of the ocean and view more then make up for small inconvenience.
We stayed from Thursday until Tuesday. The ocean view was amazing to wake to everyday. The place was quiet and clean when we got there. However, they stated we would have housekeeping on Saturday. When we got back to the room, nothing was cleaned. We waited for the next day, but left very early so we didn't have time to keep calling the main office. When we got back that night, again the room was unclean. We left to go out later on Monday, so we called first thing to have someone come, which they did...and we left the next day. So they didn't clean the room until after 4 days, the day before we left. That was disappointing. I never had stayed in a hotel where I had to keep tabs of getting our room cleaned. Other than that, everything else was ok.
Awesome view with balcony hovering over the ocean. Crashing waves melt the stress away. Short drive to the beaches and Rincon restaurants. We had the biggest 2 bedroom apt with full kitchen and AC. This is far from a resort and more of a carribean retreat.
Excellent place to stay near Rincòn! Fell asleep every night to the sound of waves crashing into the foundation and spent long days on the beautiful beaches near by. Made breakfast lunch and dinner for the entire week which created a much more homey feeling.
We had the small first floor, one bedroom knowing well that it would be a bit on the spartan side as it was delightfully inexpensive. "Sitting room" with kitchenette was a bit bleak, though the kitchen was well supplied with all the needed accoutrements. Small fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker. Very small bedroom, but bed comfy and all was clean. Our stay was a bit bleak as it rained for the better part of two days and we were house bound and the room is a bit dark and cave-like for spending the day in. All that said, if the weather were better, this would be a pretty good and reasonable place from which to sally forth for beach time, snorkeling, etc.
It was wonderful being on the beach, hearing the waves at night and swimming in the ocean whenever we wanted. Some great restaurants close by and just a short drive into town. We loved our stay there!
Room was big and comfortable. The balcony was exceptional with a fantastic view of the ocean. Very colorful courtyard full of flowers and plants. Were disappointed that access to the beach was difficult because cement stairs were missing the last two steps and had to step over a tree stump and a large rock to get to the sand. No beach area in front of cottage property, had to walk further up the beach to lay on the sand. Skimpy with bath towels. Stayed 8 nights, 3 would have been enough.

Hi Fig Newton, I like your use of the words "far from a resort and more of a Caribbean retreat" because that is a very good description of the Lemontree; retreat from the everyday world while you listen to the waves. We are so glad you enjoyed the awesome view of the ocean from the balcony and the full kitchen. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Best regards, Bella Jane

I love your title and from reading your review, it seems as if you really got into the Lemontree vibe! Having the kitchen does make it possible to really "live" at the beach for awhile. We look forward to welcoming you back really soon! Best regards, Bella Jane

My most sincere apologies that your experience with us was less than perfect; I assure you we take into consideration our guests’ feedback to continue striving for excellence. It is most unfortunate your rating was clouded by rain clouds that were upon Rincon for your two-day stay. Usually one can venture forth regardless of rain as we seldom have rain “all day” but during your stay the rains were particularly heavy; we were having what is known here as a “vaguada” or a trough of very intense and wet weather. We are happy, when the rain did let up, you were able to take advantage of the loaner beach chairs and beach towels and enjoy the beach. Best regards, Bella Jane
