Really helpful staff, good location, excellent breakfast. Beds ok bit lopsided and floor better with a room g. Enjoyed the experience and dinner ok but portion too large. Will return I believe and look for best price
From outside the hotel doesn't look very appealing but when entering, the lobby and the reception area look bright. This area has probably had the latest renovation. Our junior suite has previously been two separate rooms because there were two doors from the hallway and two bathrooms. There was wear and tear in many places and the decor had a little outdated romantic look. However, the suite had been well cleaned and it had some extras other Scandic Hotels don't have, for example bath salts for the jacuzzi. There was also a sauna which was a very appreciated addition at these -20 outdoor temperatures. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The interior was like in a conference room, but the food was delicious and the service worked. The breakfast was served in the same restaurant. It was excellent with a relaxed atmosphere and a good selection of food.
Both supper and breakfast were of good quality and very tasting. The people were very friendly and helpful in every respect. The location was good with only 2 kilometers walking to the Glass Museum of Riihimäki. Recommended!
I recommend this place for visit. Hotel was situated at Riihimaki city center not far from Railway and Bus stations. Breakfast was very big and delicious. But I have some problems with internet connectivity from my smartphone and all information about city e.g. maps were in Finnish only, that was strange, because very big cities such as Saint-Petersburg and Helsinki are near the Riihimaki.
I was satisfied everything. It was suprise for me, that so little town is finding so good hotel. We had 30's year meeting with my stablemate from our graduation. Sauna and dinner were splendid and service persons were very kindly and helpfull.
Small hotel with excellent service and kind staff. We spent one night stop over at the hotel. During the stay the staff made our family’s staying pleasant and had arranged Christmas activities to kids
Standard hotel. Check- in not the most friendly I experienced recently. Clean rooms. Bath room a bit small. Breakfast sufficient but could be improved. Interesting is the quality of the dinner which I could recommend.
Scandic Riihimäki was a good experience The room was well located, the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The room was neat, the service was friendly, the receptionist was really pleasant, the breakfast was good, the morning sauna and the gym was a nice addition, i would recommend it
Stayed in Scandic Riihimäki for a night with husband and two of our dogs. I requested a room away from elevator and thats what we got. Dogs got a little treat and bowls to use for water&food. Our room was tidy but needed to be renovated - badly. Beds were in poor condition and that's why our night wasn't that pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and staff kind and pleasant.
Its a nice cozy hotel in a small town. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Sufficient Parking places, Close to all facilities. If you are in Riihimaki, this is a really good option. If for some reason we are in Riihimaki again, we will stay here
