Doe’s Hideaway was absolutely precious. The views pulling down the road are picturesque. The animals you encounter just put a smile on your face. .Everything flowed with ease. Inside and outside the cottage was exceptionally clean. We came for the sunrise and sunset but it was cloudy. That didn’t thwart the romantic scene. It gives a reason to return. Relaxation at its finest awaits you at Doe’s Hideaway. Oh yeah …. we even sat out back and watched a woodpecker. Haven’t seen one since I was a kid. Thank you Doe for sharing.

Doe's Hideaway was fantastic for our stay in the area. Dorothy communicated well to us regarding our stay and entry to the house. The house had more than enough room for my wife and I. The place is spotless and extremely well maintained. The property is majestic. We loved greeting the long horn cows and the donkeys each morning. The birds are amazing too. If you have a chance to stay here don't pass it up. It will not disappoint.

Amazing location, secluded but just a short drive to Waco. House is clean and modern, with all facilities and amenities for a comfortable stay. Host is communicative and friendly, and we appreciated the personal touches like the welcome manual and notes with suggestions for activities. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in the countryside.

The cabin was set in a serene pasture with long horn cattle nearby. The ducks around the pond were fun to watch. The bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful time with our stay. We were visiting family in Waco so the Doe's Hideaway was far enough away from Waco to enjoy relaxation after a busy day. The stay was in the middle of a severe storm but the stay in the Doe's Hideaway was cozy and peaceful when storms were all around. The Doe's Hideaway will be our home away from home when we are visiting the Waco area.

This was my second stay at Doe's Hideaway. It is a serene and beautiful setting, and the house is perfect appointed. It is 15-20 minutes easy commute from downtown Waco & Baylor University. It is perfect for porch sitting, walks, fishing and watching the stars.

Absolutely loved staying at Does Hideaway. No detail was avoided in making this a great place stay. Most rentals do not provide all the little extras that makes your stay so much better. Comfy beds, clean towels, coffee and creamer, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergents. They thought of everything. House is clean and roomy. The setting is so relaxing. Would stay here again!

My husband and I needed a break from the city and were looking for a place to relax. This house was absolutely perfect! We loved the location... close enough to Waco to walk around the downtown area and do a little shopping, yet far enough away to have some nice, open space. In the evening we enjoyed watching the sunset. Wish we could have stayed a little longer. We'd like to plan another trip back this fall!

Book Doe's today! The very best vacation rental that I have ever stayed at. Not only is it a lovely home with amazing surroundings, the owner thought of everything! Its also the little tnings too, such as an alarmclock, lovely bedding, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The directions and access were so easy! The stop sign at the gate was a great thought as well. I really could go on and on. Thank you!

This was the most beautiful, dreamy place for our stay! We absolutely loved it. It was clean and spacious for what we needed. We loved all the windows and natural light, the porches, the backyard area over looking the pond, the cute water feature, and of course all the beautiful farm land and animals surrounding the property.

Vacation Haven

This was the perfect place to stay for our family traveling from MI to TX for our daughter's graduation from Baylor. We loved having a relaxing place to retreat to after the busyness of graduation activities. The property is incredibly peaceful and the accommodations are clean and beautiful!
