Spacious and restful one bedroom apartment close to everything in Richmond! With 10 foot ceilings and an open floor plan this first floor apartment is comfortable and spacious.

It is located on the first floor of a duplex with a shady backyard and picturesque front porch. Everything is newly renovated including a full kitchen, bathroom with a beautiful walk in shower and central AC and heating system.
The space
The apartment is on the first floor of a two level 1920s duplex in a quiet historical neighborhood of Richmond. The apartment has an open floor plan with a full kitchen, including a stove, full sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Between the kitchen and the living room is an open area with a small table and chairs. The bathroom and bedroom are located off of the main living space. The bathroom has been completely renovated with a walk-in tiled shower and brand new fixtures. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a hanging space for clothes. The apartment has a newly installed central AC and heat which is controlled independently from the rest of the house as well as radiator heat.

The apartment opens into a green and shaded backyard with a fire pit, lounge chairs and hammock which you are free to use. If you have kids there is a playhouse, sandbox and a trampoline in the backyard. Feel free to also use the large wrap around porch on the front of the house which has a sitting area, table and gas grill. The porch has a great view of the neighborhood and there is always a breeze!
Other things to note
This apartment is a part of a duplex so it’s possible you’ll hear other guests upstairs. The two units are not connected from the inside. Please take this into consideration when booking.

If you are bringing a dog, we ask that they remain on a leash at all times when in the yard. This is because the fence does not fully enclose the yard and they could easily get out. We are in a nice neighborhood for walking and there is a huge park right down the street. We also ask that pets stay off the furniture and beds.

The backyard is a shared space with the other unit so please be respectful of other guests on the property!

Great spacious apartment on the ground floor with a big yard with a deck and fire pit. Very quiet area and a park with tennis courts and basketball courts close by. The area is growing and more shops, bars and restaurants opening up. Check out Monty’s, fuzzy cactus, Julio’s bagels (great coffee) and Smokey mug for breakfast or bbq. Highly recommend and the host was super responsive and helpful.

The place is just as pictured and the host is very responsive. The only point to be aware of is that although it says it’s a duplex it is not a side-by-side. My unit was on the first floor and there’s a unit above without any sound insulation. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

The apt looks as listed; its spacious, clean, private, nice fenced backyard and we enjoyed walking our dog around the neighborhood and nearby park. The owner was easy to communicate with and quickly helped with any questions. It is quite drafty. We needed the space heater for sure. The end of our stay was during the extreme temps but the owners turned on the radiators for us which helped.

Family visit.

The apartment was perfect. Awesome location! Easy to get downtown and surrounding areas. The host was very responsive and diligent. Community pool was one block away, with 20 tennis courts and playground. Had a wonderful time visiting my family. Thank you.
