Staff was very nice and accommodated us when the room wasnt what we thiught had paid for. Every staff member we encountered acknowledged us and made us feel welcomed. The room was big and didnt feel like a typical hotel room and was very quiet all around us. The kick back hours for food & drinks was such an awesome experience. We will definitely be staying there again..very soon.

We arrived late Friday for a 2 night stay. Check in went smoothly no complaints. We had a queen double room with a sofa sleeper. One of the beds had a large, obvious stain so we needed a new comforter. Not ideal after a long drive to have to go back downstairs to fetch bedding. Our room phone would not work and there was no housekeeping on staff in the evening. The room we received had no separation between living and sleeping areas which is the reason we have always loved this hotel in the past. The sofa sleeper mattress had seen better days and could use replacing. Every other aspect of our room seemed fine. The breakfast food is always great for a family, with options to suit every taste. Our two night stay totaled around $700 so the lack of service for the room was a little disappointing.

This property is super convenient, located right off the interstate, close to a variety of shops and restaurants. We were especially happy when Alison at the front desk was able to switch our room after we realized we were right in the middle of several rooms of energetic, loud teens. She moved is a few floors up to a corner room which was much quieter giving us a more pleasant experience. There was a dinner buffet included the evening we arrived as well as a breakfast buffet the next morning, both offering a variety of options. The food was good and was replenished frequently by friendly staff. Overall, an enjoyable stay. We will likely return when we stay in Richmond again.
