This is a small town and having the motel in the middle of town was actually perfectly fine. It allowed us to walk around at night and find a restaurant to eat without much of a walk. A large food store is approximately 2 blocks west. No pool. Internet was worthless unless you were within 75 feet of the office (I'm guessing it is a shared internet with the family quarters above the office). $15 dollars extra nightly for a pet is standard and reasonable. Room was clean but they do not clean the room daily unless you ask for this. They do change to new towels daily. Not much parking if you have a trailer (there is parking behind the motel but it is an unguarded area...).
Becoming derelict. Some unused parts of facility appear abandoned.
The toilet didn't flush, the tub didn't drain. The shower curtain was filthy and so were the floors. The desk clerk didn't want to fix the tub or toilet.
We stopped last minute because of the price. Smelt terrible of smoke and dirty. Will not stay again!
We were driving from California to visit family in Indiana and stopped here to sleep since we were exhausted. I booked on the internet and the hotel still charged us anyways and it took 4 different times of calling to get it refunded since they had no idea what they were doing. The room was overwhelming with the smell of smoke and the shower had brown nasty spots all over the ceiling. The bed was hard and itchy. I would only stay here if you had to bc it was so cheap but I would pay extra for another place, it was a bad stay to say the least.
This was a wuick overnight stay. The room had leavings from the previous occupant.
was there to visit family in the areea, only picked this location because they allow pets for a small extra fee
The room was off the main road and quiet, good parking, easy to find location,
