The lodge was clean but there were some maintenance issues. Leak under sink dealt with by putting champagne buckets to catch the drips. Needs a small tables in main lounge. External door difficult to lock.Gutterings need clearing. Rooms are very spacious and generally well appointed

on 2 seperate occasions members of staff let themselves into my room using a key. One insisted it was his room. The room above me was banging and shouting all night. Also, the room was dirty with stains on the sofa and the heating was set to high. I checked out early as I couldnt face another night there.

Cabins are well decorated, comfy and clean and welcoming. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues, even though the resort itself is small and pathways smooth and very well maintained, there are a lot of steep areas. The staff were amazing. Everyone we came across could not do enough to help us. Reception, dining and spa, all amazing and went above and beyond anything I would have expected. Really lovely people.
