Not for business travelers! Property was clean, staff was great, room was spacious, bathroom was excellent (by Iceland standards) and overall things were well. BUT... the WiFi absolutely sucked, it dropped on a regular basis. If you're looking to spend time in your room getting work done, expect to be frustrated and consider choosing another hotel. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again!

Great deal for the price. Located near the end of Reykjaviks most popular pedestrian shopping street. The airport bus stop is 30 meters away. There is also a bus terminal with 12 different buses, going all over the city, at the end of the block.

Don’t stay here. There is heavy construction on the hotel starting early in the morning, before 8 AM. The hotel moved our room randomly in the middle of our stay because of this construction, too. Stay in a hotel that treats their guests well instead.

The hotel is a little dated, but the location is great. The staff was friendly.

Arrived a little early for check in and they were able to let me check in early. After long flight it was so nice of them. The hotel does not have ice machines but the nice person at the counter got us some from the bar so we could keep our drinks cold in room. The location was only couple blocks from main tourist areas of city.

Except for the size of the room, everything else was fine

We only stayed 1 night but it was very comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk even let us check in super early. Nice place right in town and not very expensive.

Basic small room. Adequate breakfast The location is good. Walking distance to shops restaurants

My adult daughter and I had a twin room that was so small we could barely walk around each other or open our suitcases. The bathroom was SO tiny with shower water covering the floor after a shower. However, the staff was very helpful, pick up for tours were convenient, and it was walking distance to everything. Also, the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main shopping street, a walkable distance to the center of Reykjavik. Staff were friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help with a variety of requests. The walls and doors to the hallway were rather thin and we were disturbed by noisy guests on our first night, but the hotel was very nice about moving us to a much quieter room on another floor. Bathroom in the first room we stayed in was pretty basic by American standards but in the second, more recently renovated "design" room, the bathroom was much more modern.

We arrived very early and fortunately were able to check into our rooms, having just flown in from Chicago. The man behind the desk was very accommodating and checked the rooms personally to make sure they were ready. The rooms were clean. There is a small bar/restaurant with happy hour. The proximity to the downtown area was the main reason for our stay.

I don't expect 5* service... I just want a nice and clean (and warm! We stayed in December) room with a decent breakfast within walking distance to downtown. I got exactly that at a good price. The room and bathroom were a bit small, especially from what I'm used to in the U.S., but the breakfast was fantastic... better than what I expected. Beds were comfortable, pillows very fluffy which is ok for me but not those who like firm pillows.

Had a short 1 night stay at this hotel but was comfortable and close to shops & restaurants. Easy to check-in and check-out. Parking was available if you have a car which was nice. There is also a grocery store nearby. Its a little further away from the main downtown area but still had a lot of restaurant options nearby

Hotel was excellent. Walking distance to everything. Staff let us check in 7 hours early which was amazing! Definitely got our vacation off to a great start.

Very clean and friendly staff! This place was a great value for the price. They have a great breakfast too.

My stay a Foss Hotel Lind was fantastic.... I couldn't fault anything from the room to Breakfast.. Hotel was clean throughout and staff very friendly... I work in hospitality in London and was very impressed, I will be coming back

Foss Hotel Lind is a clean, quirky hotel that is conveniently located. It is a few blocks from main city shopping and dining but easily walkable to/from most spots. city bus terminal is one block away. Front desk staff very willing to assist with providing directions and advice on things to see and do!

clean,, friendly helpful staff , close to eyerything in central city very basic room, bathroom very small, NO shower Just curtain around a corner wall

The room was not even similar to the pictures on the website. Replay small bed, small bathroom, but was ok for a night.

After a long night of air travel, the staff was able to get us into a room much earlier than the 4 pm check so we could recuperate and enjoy the sites of Reykjavik. Once at the Lind we could walk to all the sites we wished to see in Reykjavik.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for the review and feedback. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and we are very sorry about the construction. We have consulted with the workers and they were not supposed to start that early. During this time, we have been trying to minimize the inconvenience to our guests as much as we can. We are very sorry that we were not able to do that with you. We hope that we have successfully rectified the situation and we hope that you give us another chance one day. Additionally, we hope that you had a wonderful trip to Iceland.
