The front desk was very welcoming and informative from the start. All questions were answered with a smile. They even searched to see if our room was available to check in early which it was. We utilized street parking several blocks away. That was more convenient than most hotels in the area. The entire hotel was spotless and smelled pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the view of the city was awesome. This hotel was right in the center of everything. I would recommend it to anyone who wants access to restaurants, shopping and the marina.

The location of the hotel is ideal and the art deco design is awesome. However, the surround area can get pretty loud at night and made sleeping a little difficult.

Excellent helpful staff, especially Tony at the front desk, and Elizabeth, an attentive masseuse in the beautiful Borg Spa. The rooms were quiet and kept very clean. The location was in the middle of the action - numerous restaurants and shopping was readily available. I would definitely recommend the Borg.

Beautiful historic hotel in Reykjavik. Our room had a wonderful view of Hallgrímskirkja Church, which was an added bonus. The room was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent, close to all the great restaurants and can walk to the church in about 10 min. Very close to bus stop 1 and 3 for tours. Room was excellent and clean. There is a bakery around the corner to grab breakfast.
