The venue was spot on. An old style historic hotel had all the detailed looks and feel of the old days. Very quiet, very clean, very old style and the hotel staff was on the spot very nice, polite and extremely friendly.Thank you very much for a pleasant experience. Slept extremely well for 3 nights!

There is no power socket near bed so if you like to use and charge your iPhone when in bed, you are out of luck! The room furniture appears old but reasonable clean. The elevator in the garage was broken when we were there and we had to use the staff elevator. There are random loud street car noise in night if your room faces the West street.

Arriving at the hotel was the least impressive but the hotel lobby was beautiful and the staff very helpful. Our vehicle was too tall for the garage, and staff made sure there was space for us outside the main lobby. The room was huge and the view amazing. Very roomy. From what I read the rooms were once time shares, so meant for longer stays. If you smoke there’s a huge outdoor area on the same level as the bar and indoor swimming pool, billiards room, TV room and Gym. The hotel gave off a sort of classic, well made feeling in comparison to the cookie cutter hotel chains. I’m not much of a gambler but if you are you do not need to go far find it. Hotel was great for walkability, near excellent restaurants and the River.

This place is up to date and keeps the old time class. My room was spacious and I could not hear the adjacent rooms. There's an elegance here that is missing in other hotels plus the staff are attentive and kind. When I visited each floor had a themed display of art which blended well with the hardwood, tile and brass in the establishment.
