The hotel had a lot of potential, but maintenance of the facility has been neglected. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping was very lax. Replenishing "amenities" was haphazard, things like toiletries, and the in room coffee service. They made the bed and took out the trash, not much more.

The stay was nice, but I was surprised that I had to pay for the coffee in the room

Good place to stay. I will go straight here without checking anywhere else, next time I'm in town.

The lobby and public areas are low class casino style but the rooms are very nice. Downtown Reno is a little sketchy and the parking is unsecured (so bring a friend), but there are plenty of restaurants in the hotel so no need to venture out. Be aware that the Orbitz quoted price is a little misleading as it does not include a mandatory $15 "resort fee" which is charged regardless of whether you use the facilities.

Was in town for a tournament and stayed here. Did not need to rent a car. Everything is pretty close walking distance. Close to the ball park, close to event center, food, and other casinos as well. Sports book is pretty nice. The free shuttle to the airport. Staff was helpful with questions and recommendations.

The check in process took forever!!! It took half an hour to park th about half an hour to check in to the front desk. The staff was friendly and very professional just management under staffed the parking staff and the counter help. There was a manager who came to help 1 customer who was special apparently but then left even though there were like 10 of us waiting to check in and only two checking people in. The room was very nice, clean and easy to find close to elevator. The bed was a bit hard and then there were no extra blankets in the room so we had to call housekeeping. When we got the blankets which really needed softner quickly after we called and got ahold of them. The view from the balcony was gorgeous of downtown Reno

We are travelers on a ski trip looking for a value option. The room was small, although clean and the beds were satisfactory. The location in downtown provides easy access to other casinos. The public areas are worn and in need of updating and the casino looks dated and uninviting. After returning from skiing one day, we found our room door ajar (the room had been cleaned). The front desk and security was notified, and while nothing was missing from the room, there was no follow-up.

We needed a place to stay last minute and Harrahs took care of us at a great price. Great value stay. Casino and lobby areas could use a face update but the rooms appear to be somewhat newly remodeled and in good shape and clean. Pets allowed too!

They charge $$ for a kcup of coffee in the room for starters and the nickel and dining were throughout the stay. Wanted me to pay a pet fee that was 3 times the room price and a double digit resort fee for internet usage and valet parking, even though I don't valet my car and I have unlimited data on my phone. In that fee is also the use of the pool which is CLOSED FOR WINTER. No compensation on the resort fee for a closed pool and lots of blank stares when I asked. The Casio itself is a underwhelming and dismal state of affairs also. More outlets closed and vacant than in use and open to serve guest and patrons. The room was clean and comfy but the hand prints one the back of the bathroom door were a little gross. I wiped them off with a wet rag bc I couldn't stand to look at them while I was on the loo. I'm still in awe over $$ for a cup of in-room coffee.

The front desk clerk was rude and aloof. She gave us the wrong room twice and did nothing to remedy it the second time. All other staff were good. The room was antiquated and had no casino/amenities information nor a map to find your way around. When we attempted, several times, to contact the front desk there was no answer.

It seemed like the sheets were not changed, i was itchy the hole night! The bathroom sink and tub are clogged water took hours to drain! And we found some hair pins by the bed when we arrived! It looked like they did a quick clean! But it was clean!

The most disappointing of all is the lack of amenities. We were unaware that by staying in the East Tower there was not a kitchen so there was no room service. Also the only food on that side of the hotel is Quiznos and it was not open late. We also were shocked to see that everything had an added cost, from the wifi to the coffee in the room, there was an additional price. I would have appreciated at least free coffee in our room as the only alternative was to walk to the other part of the hotel in the West Tower to get a coffee in the morning. We had expected a little bit better from a trust hotel such as Harrah's.

The room was comfortable with a nice tv screen and mini refrigerator that I appreciated. The Customer Service agent at the desk was very friendly.

The room was exceptionally clean. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! The furniture was a little worn from age, but nothing a normal house wouldn't see...with the exception of the chairs. the padding in them was crushed flat. Everything in the room worked and the bathroom was nice...again, super clean. Bed was decently comfortable. The lobby had a funky smell, but that may have been due to the record setting rains and flooding. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, check in was a bit slow, but not bad...just don't check in on a Friday afternoon...there was a line for those poor folks.

took over 30 minutes to check in because our reservation was not in the system. we booked the room at 1130pm.we arrived at midnight and nothing.I had to call Orbitz to "resend my reservation ". only had 1 fd agent working not ok for a casino or holiday weekend.

Great stay for the price. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable.

The staff, awsome especially the old bell man. So helpful and nice! Room's are updated and beds were nice, but the furniture is super used, the cushion on the chairs were worn and flat! The tub was filthy! We wore shower shoes in it. Rugs need a good cleaning and walls need washing. The lobby reeks of old musty stale sigarets! The view was amazing. And the buffet is WAY over priced, it's only kinda worth it with the bogo ticket you get with your room.

Was in town for a tournament and stayed here. Did not need to rent a car. Everything is pretty close walking distance. Close to the ball park, close to event center, food, and other casinos as well. Sports book is pretty nice. The free shuttle to the airport. Staff was helpful with questions and recommendations.
