Very friendly and courteous. The staff was accommodating. Loved the restaurants and the machines

Had a good time at this Hotel , also won a little money too

I used this hotel because it was downtown.I like to walk, and there was a lot to see. Also the river walk. I used the free shuttle to and from the airport.

Only a few things were negative to me. One of the chairs in the room was so wore out it was very uncomfortable to sit in. Room 2252 The chairs didn't even match? The second issue I had was an ad on at checkout of a resort fee? When I booked through Orbitz I thought my room was paid in full, surprise!!

Maid service could improve. Upon arrival, room carpet needed vacuuming...potato chip crumbs on carpet. No maid service on Thursday (9/14/17), which was our 26th wedding anniversary. Toilet refilled about every 5 minutes because of internal leak in tank (either flapper or ballcock)...very aggravating!

Two major problems with my stay: The pool is currently under renovation (since May 2017). I booked in March 2017, and was never informed of this situation. On top of that, the hotel charges a daily “resort fee.” The staff says that the resort fee has nothing to do with the pool. The fee covers wireless, the spa, and local phone calls. I didn't need any of those services, but had to pay anyway. The second major issue was the stated included amenity: “buy 1 breakfast, get 1 free.” When I checked in, I was told that the hotel doesn’t even serve breakfast. (There's an affiliate restaurant on-site, but it leases space from the hotel.) Instead, I would be given a 2-for-1 voucher for a buffet brunch that starts serving at 10am. Never used the voucher. Additional issues included no amenities in the room: no tea/coffee pot, no fridge, and no safe. Moreover, you have to pay an RSCVA (tourism) surcharge for staying in an area of Reno that needs some serious remediation.

Everything was fine. I asked the clerk about internet service, whe told me that it was included in the price. However, the next morning, on my folio they had charged me $18? I asked another clerk about it, Nothing she could do...

The carpet was badly stained. It clearly hadn't even been vacuumed. My phone stuck to the nightstand. Also, they charged $14 a night for wifi. The two bottles of water waiting in our room cost $3 apiece. It was awful!

It was fine. Just a quick overnight. Didn't spend much time at the hotel.

The casino and location are the only 2 things that are decent. Our room wasn't ready until 5:00pm (an hour after actual check-in despite the fact that we had been there waiting since noon). We were supposed to have a king size bed, instead, we were put in a room with 2 tiny full size beds. We immediately called the front desk and were told this was the ONLY room they had and we could move the next night. The room was horrible, decorated in 1990 decor. The carpet next to the tv was soaking wet. The wooden entertainment center was falling apart. When I went to complain, I was told, "It's an 80 year old property, what did you expect?" We were moved the next day to the west tower, which was nicer than the east tower, however, none of our bathroom outlets worked, despite resetting the outlet. I have stayed at Harrah's in Tahoe and Vegas, and loved both properties, but Reno Harrah's is not even close to that level. We will NEVER stay there again and I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone!!

Loved the casino there, it was very clean and didn't smell like smoke. I was disappointed with the lack of friendlyness and help from the staff. Also the fact that you had to pay to check in 2 hours early, when you are going to be gambling and spending money at their casino. Room was comfortable, but the air didn't seem to work all that well, it was very hot to sleep there. No free coffee in the morning either :(

It was great, it met my needs for everything that I needed

a nice clean casino that needs some updating and they also let people know on their website that the pool is closed!

I have stayed at Harrah's many times, it's affordable and convenient. I'm not a gambler, I just go to Reno to visit my daughter while she is in college. It works. The buffet is great and the Hash House a Go Go has really good food too. I don't like the smoke, but the rooms are clean.

I request a refrigerator for medication, no refrigerator, we was put in the east wing where there was nothing, I had to walk so for to the other side to find restaurants and shops. I have a bad knee and ankle. It was really irritating to be constantly having to be going back and forth. My husband and I really wanted to see lake taho but the staff the only had one package tour and didn't even try to help us, I was very disappointed!!!!!!!!

The room was ok, nothing special, found one dead bed bug on the mattress. Most disappointing is that we went there because they had a pool, only to find that both the pool and the fitness center were closed when we were there. Nothing on the website to inform us. Disappointing.

Old hotel, rooms need an update...feather pillows which poke through, and poke you in the face. No good place for breakfast. I don't enjoy paying $18.00 for a "resort fee" when the pool is not even open! Downtown location is icky with beggars and icky people.

Room was very clean and the staff were very nice. Will book again!

I had a conference at the hotel. Staying here was convenient.

Hotel rooms where dated. Staff was excellent. We had a smoking room as that was the only room available when we booked. Room had really bad smoke odor, more than you'd usually expect from a smoking room.

There wasn't even a Kleenex holder in the bathroom! Just a bag sitting on the counter! Not what I expected from Harrah's!
