The Purple Heart Trail Inn is nothing fancy (yes, I climbed those sturdy stairs many times,) but it was a very nice place to stay for a week. It is maybe 15 feet off the White Pine Trail, which is perfect for me.The unit was well-supplied, and the internet worked great..The owners were easy to reach and very friendly.

Clean comfortable stay! Laid back town that is very walkable. Appreciated the extra touches! (Discount cards, information booklet, water bottles, coffee & creamer, laundry stuff!!) Only down fall was water pressure & it’s not for those limited by stairs. Great Host!!

Riding the bike trails

This was an excellent location for riding all the rail trails, but i was a little anxious about being next to the liquor store. It turned out fine. Actually quite quiet. The view over the river & covered bridge were very peaceful & nice to look at. It might have been nice to be able to open a window, but it was not designed for that. Everything was super comfortable.
