Quiet retreat in a super friendly neighborhood on a dead end road. You couldn’t ask for anything better!
I forgot to say, the plantings for this VRBO and neighborhood are extra special if you are into that type of thing…TAKE A WALK 🫶🏼

For the most part, "yes". For our preferences, we would have preferred a standard toaster rather than the toaster/oven. I like to cook and I could also have used more in the way of pots, pans and utensils. I did manage to make some chicken soup in one of the fry pans but that was less than ideal. A spatula for flipping eggs would have helped but I managed with the mayo spreader. The appliances were all very nice. I especially like the clean flat surface on the stovetop.A quick trip to Goodwill to fill out the inventory kitchen utensils woud have made it perfect.

Our 2nd stay here in less than 45 days…this time for 10 days. The lower exposed level with an outside covered patio and multitiered garden is excellent for beating the heat and escaping the hustle of Redding. Our host was extremely helpful, responded rapidly to any inquiries/questions via messaging and has been very welcoming for both of our stays. For the going rate of any decent/clean hotel in Redding this is a bargain and the vibe is good for your soul. Even had a yoga mat for some morning stretches before another busy day. Namaste

Quiet garden setting

We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Redding. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the shaded patio overlooking a beautiful terraced garden in the evenings after busy days exploring the area. Everything was super clean and the owner was easy to communicate with and very friendly. The beds were cozy. We could walk to the Sacramento River Trail from the house which we enjoyed.

The place was great! We ate breakfast on the patio with a beautiful view of flowers, shrubs, and trees. The bedroom was huge and the beds comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful week here! Close enough to downtown Redding for us to get to see our son play on the Colt 45s, but also right near the river walk, which was a great walk! Accommodations were nice and WiFi strong in the living room but not really in the bedroom. As my husband was working during the week, it was nice to have the little nook in the kitchen area. We would stay here again!

Convenient Location

We really only used the place to sleep. The beds were very comfortable & accommodated the 3 people staying there. It was 5 minutes away from relative’s home where we spent all our time so couldn’t ask for a better location Grocery stores conveniently nearby & place not far from downtown. Depending on the time of year, the patio would be a nice place for morning coffee & an evening sitting outdoors with friends & family. I would definitely stay there again when visiting family. It was so nice staying not having to stay in a motel. The host Lysen was very responsive to any questions or issues I had.
