The standout attraction of this resort is the stunning beach where it is located. Quieter and more exclusive feeling than neighbouring beaches, this one is a real gem. Just three resorts, with Tubtim at the far end.
I was in a balcony garden view room which was spacious and really comfortable. Nice and light and bright. As others have said, it is up a lot of steps, and the path up there is not lit, take a torch! The shower pressure is non-existent, so don’t expect much.
The customer service is very patchy, from the downright rude and unhelpful, to the lovely and can’t do enough to assist.
There is a rather odd system where you have to drop your key at reception if you want your room serviced. And then all keys are left out once cleaning has been done, so there is no key security.
They don’t overcrowd the beach with loungers, but as a result there aren’t enough. Unless you get down there at 7 am to stake your claim with a towel, you risk not being able to get one. I wasn’t given a coherent reason why they don’t have more loungers. Getting deck chairs is easier, just ask at the bar and they will set you up a couple with an umbrella. Grab a small seat cushion from the barbecue area. The loungers are hard as stone, and for some inexplicable reason don’t have full length cushions, so you could have a very uncomfortable day on one. I favoured the deck chairs.
The breakfast is distinctly average.
All in all I would definitely stay here again largely because of the location.
