The hotel, the furnishings, the room, the linens, the food...all wonderful.

Great staff, clean room, historic, scenic, close to (within walking distance to) downtown Durham, and a pleasure to stay in for a night.

Very nice B&B with all the comforts one would expect. Was upgraded upon arrival and the room was very nice, roomy and comfortable. Plenty of room in the inn’s living area and sun porch to sit, have a drink and chat. Would certainly stay hear again. It was a great value when you add in the free parking and complementary breakfast...not to mention the complementary bottle of wine at check-in, for being a VIP customer....

We decided to splurge and come here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We love bed and breakfast places so decided to choose this one which isn't too far from Raleigh itself. We truly enjoyed this quaint historic gem with a modern feel! Beautiful rooms and the staff was always friendly. Breakfast was great: they have a small variety to order, daily specials and great homemade granola! At night they even serve port wine and chocolate with their turn down service! Only wish there had been more parking in the back but side street parking is available. Would definitely come back.

A very large old mansion, meticulously renovated to keep the charm and update the amenities. Located within walking distance of downtown Durham (home of the Durham Bulls baseball team :-) )and a 10 minute drive drive from Duke University. A beautiful park is right across the street with a plethora of restaurants nearby.

Excellent service, staff was very attentive. Hotel location was amazing, right next to East Campus.

The place is worth the price; you definitely get what you pay for here. Since I booked with Orbits, I was designated "VIP" status and got a free full size bottle of wine (the one I chose was $38). The room was clean and super cute. I stayed in the Parrish suite. There is no tv in the bedroom, but there is one in the sitting area and it is big. They also provide a turn down service of Tawny Port and chocolates that await you in the room. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking is free and convenient. The Inn is directly across from a park, so great views while eating breakfast. The common rooms are gorgeous and big, so great for large groups to convene. Would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the city.

We really enjoyed our stay which gave us the opportunity to catch our breath and reconnect after our wedding and before our honeymoon. We slept in, had a lovely breakfast and went for a walk around East Campus before heading for home.
