Welcome to the Raleigh Retreat! Relax with your friends and family in this well appointed 5 Bedroom home on a quiet Cul-De-Sac. This custom built home has your comfort in mind. You can't help but notice the spacious accommodations and quality amenities throughout the home.
The first floor master has 32" doorways to accommodate a wheelchair. The large dining table can easily seat 10 adults. Everything you need to host a meal is in the large well appointed kitchen. Watch a movie in the living room or game room on the smart 65" TV's. Or you can relax in the front sitting room or the upstairs loft. Entertain the kids with a large fenced in back yard with Tether-ball or Corn Hole and the game room to play in. The game room features Air Hockey, Ms Pac-Man, Dual Basketball arcade, Foosball, Street Fighter Arcade, and a large sectional sofa with a smart 65" TV. You can charge your EV for free as well! The king bedrooms have smart 55" TVs. We have a high chair and pack n play for the little one. And enjoy tons of DVDs, books, games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained!
This home is centrally located in Raleigh with easy access to anything you need. 20 mins from RDU, 7 min to the Duke Raleigh Hospital, and 15 mins to downtown Raleigh. It's walking distance to the grocery store, shops, restaurants, bars and a large park and playground.

Easy communication with our host; house had all the amenities listed and that we expected. House was immaculate yet comfortable. We were a group of friends doing a short writing retreat. We all had space but the dining table was big enough for us to easily gather. Plus the hot tub and the end of a long day was a joy.

If spending time in Raleigh there is no better spot, particularly for groups are families. Had a wonderful Christmas family reunion. Kitchen is very well stocked and nice dishwater to handle 12. Bedrooms are well appointed. Lovely yard and patio and a hot tub! Going back to my home town to a lively location will definitely return again. Not to mention location is close to good restaurants, grocery stores, and major highways.

Great place to stay. Family came into town to attend our daughters wedding. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We had 11 quests total and we didnt feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of things to help keep the kids entertained in the home.

Wonderful retreat!

This was a beautiful house. I can't find one thing that was wrong with our stay. The Master bedroom on the main floor was enormous and luxurious. Perfect for my parents who can't do stairs. The kitchen was fully stocked and up to date, large dining room table and kitchen, dining area, family room was completely open with plenty of seating so we could all be together comfortably. The garage has been converted into an amazing game room, with separate heater, large couches, big screen tv and plenty of games to keep both the kids and adults entertained. There is also a separate sitting area in r front of the house for those who want a separate visiting area. The back yard was enormous with places to play corn hole and other outdoor games. The hot tub was huge and in perfect working order. Was enclosed in a gazebo structure which you can close flaps if too cold out or rainy. Large deck where you can hang out and BBQ grill. Upstairs rooms were large as well. Beds were all very comfy. Plenty of pillows, bath towels, and pool towels were provided along with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand soap, toilet paper, Kleenex. The owner thought of everything to make our stay absolutely perfect and carefree. So glad we found this house. We were in town for a family wedding and only wish we had even more time to stay and enjoy all the house had to offer! No one wanted to leave.

Thanksgiving

The Wyckhurst home is lovely and overall well equipped. Being Thanksgiving I did bring extra things for cooking like a large Roasting Pan, meat thermometer, Platter, etc that did turn out to be needed. Trash cans in the bedrooms and a few more serving dishes would be welcome additions, but otherwise ww couldn't have asked for more or better..

Beautiful home in the perfect location!

We were thrilled with every part of our stay in this wonderful home. The house is lovely and spacious and located in the heart of north Raleigh- convenient to everything. Plenty of space to spread out and a wonderful game room- fun for adults and kids. Katy was a pleasure to work with and super accommodating. Great Spot for Family Fun!

We were here for a family wedding, and the house had everything we needed for guests of all ages! We all loved the game room, hot tub, and entertainment areas. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and tons of cooking supplies. There was a selection of spices to make cooking there even easier. But above all else, the owners were outstanding to work with! They worked with us to set up some special accommodations for one of our guests, and they did it with so much kindness. Thanks for great hospitality!

Perfect Fun Weekend Stay

We spent time with our family of 10 and had the best weekend ever! The home was warm and inviting with lots of room to hang together and spacious enough when you needed some quiet time to relax and chill. The DVDs, board games, game room, and backyard deck were a big hit, the kids loved it. It's a GREAT home away from home!! We will stay here again.
