Ive stayed here 2 time while visiting Raleigh and I plan to stay here when I return. The management is very helpful. They are very friendly and go out of their way to greet you and satisfy any need. They even help me avoid getting charged for a late cancellation. The units re clean and the property is well run and well kept.

This was a great place. Staff was friendly. When I checked in, I was surprised that the agent (Ken) greeted me by saying they were expecting me. That made me felt welcome right off the bat. The only thing that I have a complaint is that the front desk clerk told me that I could not bring my trained service dog into the breakfast area. That is my only complaint. Other than that, room was spacious and everything I needed, even though I am only overnighting for one night before heading home.

Great visit! Visited to attend the 90th bday of a family member. Nathan, at the Front Desk was fantastic. I was previously told that we could only stay at this hotel for one night and we needed two. Nathan worked it out for us to stay at this hotel both nights and not have to move. Very helpful and professional. Especially, since we were traveling with a 3 year old. Thank you Nathan! You are appreciated!

We stayed here with my 4 year old and 7 month old to spend Christmas with my sister and her family. My daughter first wet the bed Christmas Eve. I went to the desk to request the one beds sheets be changed even though it was a light service day ( which apparently is everyday!) When we returned later in the day they had not been changed. BUT... that's not the worst part. I woke up on the 26th with 3 bites on my back. Now I am an expert in the area and always check the mattresses upon arrival at any hotel. After waking with the bites my husband flipped up the mattress up and sure enough...bed bugs. I spoke to the front desk where she said she was so sorry and would change our room. I said no, we want to check out and the points from the stay back. She sent maintenance to collect the bug sample to send to a lab to confirm. Really?!? She told me that management would contact me and it is now Friday the 29th ( our original check out date) and I have heard nothing. As a rewards member I'm flabbergasted at the way Marriott has treated this. We had to leave our pack and play and personal pillows for my bad back as to ensure we didn't bring the bugs home and spend our own money and day from our trip at a laundromat to wash and dry all our clothes to also try to ensure we didn't bring them home. I pray that we didn't. Don't stay here, management does not care about the quality of their hotel or their guests. Disgusting!!!

I recently stayed in one of the 2bd/2bath suites. It was me, my boyfriend, and my teen daughter, and we didn't all want to share a room. Rather than to have my daughter on a sleeper couch, we decided to go with 2 separate rooms. Did mobile check-in so the key was ready upon arrival. The room was very nice...kitchen and living room were extremely spacious. Both rooms had their own bath and TV, which is great for a teen who needs their own space! Breakfast was plentiful, and coffee/tea/cocoa are available 24/7 in the lobby. The hotel is right off the highway, so a short drive to downtown Durham and other areas. Definitely would stay here again!

This is the first time that I have stayed at a Residence Inn, but it wlll not be the last. The comfortable is large and very comfortable. Everything about our room at this facility was perfect! Easy access to the thermostat, full kitchen, very energy efficient bathroom facility, comfortable bed, and a couch! I could stay here on a long term basis if at was at a conference or need a great place to get , comfortably! The attendant at the front desk was courtesy, helpful, and displayed exceptional customer service. I missed the breakfast, it I had a piece of the pie coffee cake, and it was good. The accommodations were clean and had a small dining area.

After a long day of packing up our home for pending relocation. It was a breath of fresh air when my wife informed me that when checking into this hotel, the service she reveived was first class. She mentioned that an employee named Anne was extremely professional, patient, and nice. She went on to state that in addition to Anne, an employee named Marty was just as professional, and even went as far to personally bring the luggage cart to her vehicle to assist with downloading her luggage. It's service like this is why i have been a faithful Marriott customer since 2006. Way to go Marriott! Also, awesome job Anne and Marty.

We chose this hotel because it's pet friendly and the convenient location. Room was smaller than other Residence Inn rooms I've had and the setup was kind of weird. The bathroom was really small and the sink/mirror is outside of the bathroom. Breakfast was good.

So we stayed here as a large group and due to its proximity to Chapel Hill and Durham. Not the best RI that I have stayed at. Rooms were not as updated as other RI that we have stayed at. Also their queen bed is actually a full size. We had one room that stunk and was noisy due to a dog locked in the next door unit. Had to be changed to a different one. The other room had a noisy upstairs neighbor who was playing loud music starting at 7am till he/she left. There was a lot of wood creaking due to the way the place is built. Also , no elevators so if if you have kids and luggage: you are out of luck if you get upstairs room. Staff were very nice though and the breakfast was well stocked. As far as location is concerned, it is right on I-40/Hwy55. So proximity to airport and the two cities is great but the area has nothing to walk to and overall is in the middle of nothing. The one in Durham is much nicer from outside and has a much better location. But was quite expensive.

I remember a time when breakfast at any Marriott was the best. Gone are those days. The scrambled eggs are the slimy mass produced version that you get in most hotels today. Fruit is the same, not fresh and very unappetizing. The sausage looks like it was boiled rather than fried. The rooms are very nice, but you would be better bring your breakfast than eating theirs
