Last year around September, we passed by this hotel which was under construction. When deciding to go to Raleigh for an "in-state staycation", we decided to give this Holiday Inn a try. Located right off of the beltline, this hotel is conveniently located near the Crabtree Valley Mall. We went up a couple of exits to find some good spots to eat at. Nicole and the other agent (can't remember her name) were super-friendly. The room was clean and I loved that the beds have soft and firm pillows. The hotel is done exceptionally well. You can tell it's been renovated- money well spent in my opinion! They do have a restaurant on site, but I didn't eat there. This hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. Very pleasant stay. Should I decide to do another "in-state staycation" and I'm traveling to Raleigh, I will stay here.
Stayed here on our way home from OBX. Had a great time. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Location is right across the road from the Crabtree Valley Mall which was a lot of fun. Great dining and shopping. Would recommend this location
Visited Raleigh for my son's birthday. Our stay was great. Hotel was nice and clean. Customer service was great. No issues. We stayed on the 10th floor with a great view from our room. There are no vending machines, but there is a market in the lobby. Also no complimentary breakfast, but there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. Overall, great stay, great service, and clean rooms! We will definitely stay again
Our little suite was modern and up-to-date with clean, neat and pleasant décor. The size of the rooms were more than adequate with plenty of space for us to move around. Loved the free shuttle to and from the Mall. Customer service was attentive!
I just recently stayed at this hotel in August and was very pleased with the service my husband and I received. So we decided to stay here again. Well the check in went great. It was the lack of service before we left that was horrible. It started when I went to get ice we were on the 9th floor with an ice machine. However the ice machine was unplugged. So I decided to go down and ask customer service. It took me 10 minutes to get an elevator. It kept going pass my floor. So when I went down I asked were their issues with the elevators this morning. The remark was we have over a hundred people in this hotel all leaving so that was the issue. I don't thinks so. However I stood in the lobby for at least 10 to 15 minutes and no one came off the elevator did not see but 1 person the entire time leaving this hotel. So I purchased my soft drink and went to wait in the line to get back on elevator. As I was standing there by fire exit and stairs someone was trying to get in. So I opened the door and the woman was also upset saying she had to come down from the 10th floor because she also had waited for the elevator for more than 10 minutes. The front desk lady had a terrible attitude from the beginning. I would not even turn in my how did we do form because I figured it would not get to the correct person. This is a beautiful hotel, but if the customer service is going to be like this I can stay elsewhere.
Hotel is good for a few nights if you're by yourself - would not recommend with kids. Slept really well - bed/pillows really comfortable. Linens - not as good but not bad. All staff that I encountered was REALLY accommodating and pleasant which always makes the stay better.
It's actually a renovated hotel but looks brand new! We where there for 2 nights with the kids! Enjoyed the very clean pool, super comfortable beds and pillows! Great service and hospitality ! Free parking, bathroom are a bit small but new and clean! I recommend it to all my family and friends !
Old hotel with a very nice a pretty face lift. Everything has been updated. You will hear some people while your are in your room. We also had a man with a drill at 8:30am on Sun morning 👎. Other than that it was a good stay.
We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn. There's a nicely renovated Holiday Inn. There was no breakfast. It was nice to get up in the morning and do a walk or run along the Crabtree Creek Trail. There's a nice greenscape trail along right beside the hotel. I would recommend this hotel.
Lauren at the front desk was very beneficial and very outgoing. She always had a smile and very friendly. She makes this hotels experience to where I will be back when in raleigh again.. thank you lauren!! *chris vega/Brandi young rm 804 6-16 6-18
