Staying at Fairfield Inn, Raleigh Crabtree, was great! Our room was clean and so nice to get in to. Clean towels with no bleach scent as we've experienced in other hotels. The complimentary breakfast was great and fresh. All the staff we talked with were friendly. It was probably the best stay in a hotel we have enjoyed in many years, and the price was below what we found at most of the hotels I checked online when looking for a room in Raleigh. As the stars say, Excellent!!!

The breakfast was good. The staff was courteous. We were offered another room on a different floor because the second floor reeked of cigarette smoke. There was dirt and hair in the shower. I also found a hair under the pillow after waking up the next morning.

Wasn’t happy.

The first room we were assigned smelled like smoke and strong air fresheners trying to cover it. We switched rooms. We were told they thought the smell would have been out by then. We didn’t notice until the morning that there was an old blood spot on a pillowcase that actually went through to the pillow. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, I will not stay here again.
