Just blocks away from the vibrant Transfer Food Hall, Fayetteville Street, Historic Chavis Park, Moore Square, Red Hat Amphitheater, Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts and the Raleigh Convention Center, shops and downtown amenities, this home offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and urban lifestyle. We live close by if you need anything. If not- we will not be bothering you during your stay.
We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during

Adorable house with a great yard and one (possibly big) flaw

This little house is adorable and in such a great location. Walkable to area eateries and coincidentally the chapel we would be attending for a wedding. Some extra blankets and pillows would be a good addition but we made do. Our only concern, which could be a very big one for some and is the reason for the 4 star rating, is that the floors are incredibly uneven. Walking along them had us feeling really off balance and I think that for anyone with mobility issues they would be a real hazard. At first we thought it was kind of funny and no big deal but by the end of the stay it really had us feeling nauseous and wondering how anyone could stand it in the long term. The hosts were very communicative, the house is very clean with great amenities, and the location is perfect and I really hesitated mentioning the floors but I really do feel it was enough to make a big impact for future guests. If you think you can overlook it definitely stay here, it was the only real drawback.

A Wonderful Stay

Shawnee was an amazing host. My fiancé and I stayed at the Greenway Getaway rental for 3 nights with our pups and it was perfect for us. We had an elopement ceremony at a nearby park during our stay and being able to go back to Shawnee’s place and relax with the fire pit, cozy living room, and well-furnished home was exactly what we wanted. Shawnee even left us some firewood to use with the fire pit! The large and fully fenced in back yard was perfect for our pups, and when we stay there again in the future we will be sure to make use of the close by greenway trails. We ate at several restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the rental that were all delicious, and slept soundly in the king size comfy main bed. The two bedrooms were comfortable and had all the amenities you would look for when staying in a home away from home. I don’t think there is a single thing Shawnee didn’t think of when stocking the house! We were well provided for and communication with Shawnee before and during our stay was impeccable. She was kind, understanding, and professional. It made our memorable trip smooth and enjoyable. -Olivia and Wes
