The people staying next to me were loud, but I was already awake.

thThey could not be any more help, great people and nothing is to much trouble. I will be back on the 29th.

The room was decent. I understand it was you get what you pay for, but heat would have been nice. When we checked in the room was freezing, so we called the front desk. One hour later, no sign of maintenance so we decided to go for dinner. When we got back from dinner no heat so they gave us another room & it was still cold, so we went to Walmart and bought a heater. That was cheaper than changing hotels. It was only for one night thank goodness!

Nice hotel close to some restaurants/plazas, the staff was super friendly and the guest service helped me with every request I had. They also offer a free shuttle service to UNC and dowtown of Chapel Hill (this was awesome!). The restaurant next to the hotel does not offer a plenty of options but if you are looking for something fast and greasy is a good option.

Stayed here while my son attended the North Carolina Roy Williams Basketball camp. Extremely dated and uncomfortable!! Paid for the deluxe room but it was for from deluxe!! Would never stay here again!!!

I booked a non-smoking room, and was refused one when I arrived. They had over booked!!! I don't understand why they still even have smoking rooms at all, but forcing a non-smoker into a smoking room is awful! I used to stay here several times a year. I liked the hotel because it was cheap but clean and convenient. I was looking forward to using the newly renovated pool. But I will NEVER AGAIN stay there! I couldn't sleep from the smoke smell. All of my clothes and belongings still smell. Not to mention the health issues. Sorry: used to love you, now don't anymore!

The hotel was a very good bargain for the price. The room was comfortable, the staff was outstanding, and the pool provided a needed release for our grandsons. Not luxurious by any means, but clean, comfortable, and affordable.

My stay was brief. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The building and rooms in this facilities are a bit old, but well maintained. WiFi strength is good.

If you are looking for accommodations that cost-effective and reasonably comfortable, this is your place.

Was run down and did not match description on-line. Room smelled like smoking had occurred. Appears that motel is also used for short-term housing.

Nice, clean place as well as old school. Most importantly, good location and easy on the wallet

Cleaning ladies came at 10 when our do not disturb sign was out.She knocked on the door for 6 minutes straight whole we told her no.Then she waited outside our room for us to leave.

ROOM WAS GOOD , ENJOYED OUR STAY,,,,,, BREAKFAST AND YOUNG ATTENDENT WAS VERY GOOD

Rooms are spacious and comf and the hotel an easy walk to Trader Joe's and other shopping and an short drive to good restaurants. Unfortunately during our visit there was a snowstorm and the hotel never cleaned the parking lot of the ice and snow. Getting to our car or walking anywhere was treacherous.

Hotel staff was very friendly and gave excellent restaurant recommendations

Staff is extremely friendly...very helpful and just great people to talk to. Rooms are old, bathroom door would not shut all the way, air conditioning was not working, continental breakfast was horrible except for the waffles. The hotel is in desperate need or a makeover.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, quaint decor

This is an older hotel in need for a renovation sometime soon. The room was clean except that we found a lot of ants in the room. The hotel was in the middle of a pool renovation, so maybe the ants had been disturbed by construction and ran all over the place. The front desk guy said he wasn't aware of any ants, which I find hard to believe. Breakfast selection was all focused around glutens and highly sugary items, no eggs or any kind of meat. Other than that, decent hotel in a close proximity to the UNC.

Need work, plumbing not working properly ,pool in rebuild stage

The room was nicely decorated and the staff was sweet but the AC smelled like cigarette smoke. Overall, a good experience.
