Stayed here while my son attended the North Carolina Roy Williams Basketball camp. Extremely dated and uncomfortable!! Paid for the deluxe room but it was for from deluxe!! Would never stay here again!!!

I booked a non-smoking room, and was refused one when I arrived. They had over booked!!! I don't understand why they still even have smoking rooms at all, but forcing a non-smoker into a smoking room is awful! I used to stay here several times a year. I liked the hotel because it was cheap but clean and convenient. I was looking forward to using the newly renovated pool. But I will NEVER AGAIN stay there! I couldn't sleep from the smoke smell. All of my clothes and belongings still smell. Not to mention the health issues. Sorry: used to love you, now don't anymore!

The hotel was a very good bargain for the price. The room was comfortable, the staff was outstanding, and the pool provided a needed release for our grandsons. Not luxurious by any means, but clean, comfortable, and affordable.

My stay was brief. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The building and rooms in this facilities are a bit old, but well maintained. WiFi strength is good.

If you are looking for accommodations that cost-effective and reasonably comfortable, this is your place.

Was run down and did not match description on-line. Room smelled like smoking had occurred. Appears that motel is also used for short-term housing.

Nice, clean place as well as old school. Most importantly, good location and easy on the wallet

Cleaning ladies came at 10 when our do not disturb sign was out.She knocked on the door for 6 minutes straight whole we told her no.Then she waited outside our room for us to leave.

ROOM WAS GOOD , ENJOYED OUR STAY,,,,,, BREAKFAST AND YOUNG ATTENDENT WAS VERY GOOD

Rooms are spacious and comf and the hotel an easy walk to Trader Joe's and other shopping and an short drive to good restaurants. Unfortunately during our visit there was a snowstorm and the hotel never cleaned the parking lot of the ice and snow. Getting to our car or walking anywhere was treacherous.

Hotel staff was very friendly and gave excellent restaurant recommendations

Staff is extremely friendly...very helpful and just great people to talk to. Rooms are old, bathroom door would not shut all the way, air conditioning was not working, continental breakfast was horrible except for the waffles. The hotel is in desperate need or a makeover.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, quaint decor

This is an older hotel in need for a renovation sometime soon. The room was clean except that we found a lot of ants in the room. The hotel was in the middle of a pool renovation, so maybe the ants had been disturbed by construction and ran all over the place. The front desk guy said he wasn't aware of any ants, which I find hard to believe. Breakfast selection was all focused around glutens and highly sugary items, no eggs or any kind of meat. Other than that, decent hotel in a close proximity to the UNC.

Need work, plumbing not working properly ,pool in rebuild stage

The room was nicely decorated and the staff was sweet but the AC smelled like cigarette smoke. Overall, a good experience.

Well located, great staff, clean rooms, excellent amenities

U pay $150 plus and no breakfast served plus u could see through the curtains not much privacy

The location of the hotel was great...close to several places we wanted and needed to go. However, I was very disappointed in the room itself. First of all, the curtains did not close at all and anyone outside walking by can see through the sheers. After dark, the lights from the parking lot are so bright that they shine right into the room. We had to be very creative with extra pillows, blankets and other items to try to block out the light. The thermostat does not work right, we put it on warm and the room was cold in the morning. The carpet needs professionally cleaned badly.. it has a bad odor and is extremely dirty. Within 10 minutes after my 2 grandsons had taken a bath, the soles of their feet were so dirty from walking on the carpet it didn't look like they had even taken a bath. I found it very odd that the breakfast room was in a regular room instead of in the main building. It was very cold in the mornings and we had to walk in the cold to go upstairs to eat. I chose this motel because we had a short stay and the price was great. However, I will not stay here in the future again. Not up to my standards or my daughter's.

Only stopped by to sleep but it was comfortable. Front desk lady was very nice and the room was spacious and warm.
