Stayed there for a couple of nights, the receptionist was very friendly and quickly checked me in, the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable they have a little station by the elevator on the the 5th floor where you can help yourself with coffee and water. Highly recommended. I’d stay there again. Thanks
The good, quiet rooms, the bad...not really good maintenance in the room, mainly in the bathroom, because the water was running all night, the tiles were detached, and the reading light was extremely strong. Bed and pillows not really very comfortable.
It's very important to be objective when you write a review, personally I seldom do this; in this case is the way to express my deep dissapointment with this hotel. In few words: I can't understand how NH Hotels can put their brand to this property. By points will be easier: 1. At check in, clerk on reception charge me full MXN$4,000 instead of doing the credit card verification (a honest mistake, but if I didn't review my voucher I would have that charge on my card). And if this had been the only mistake, this review wouldn't have existed. *My expected charges were MXN$2,200 for two nights 2. The word to describe hallways: nasty. You could see nail clips on the corridor even when hotel employees just have passed minutes ago through that corridor. 3. Room: I requested two double beds (I was traveling with family). The room design was not to accomodate two double beds, so staying there was awkward. I did find dirty duvets (yellow stains) on the backwards of duvets (deliberately trying to hide the stain instead of changing duvets). Room lacked of sleep pillows (just have one) and bar soap. Bed sheets were the worst quality I ever seen in a hotel like this, very rough cotton. When calling front desk to request more pillows and soaps, their first response was: I will send ONE (we were three guest and a baby) 4. Special experience: I was requested to sign a document a about no smoking policy. At about 6.00 am a very unpleasant and penetrating cigarrette smell filled my room. Best guess: lousy ventilation design and another guest smoking. I booked two nights but ended staying just one and changing hotel.
Stayed overnight, the less than friendly staff couldn't (wouldn't!) help me solve a problem with the air conditioning so most of the time the room was warm. Overall the hotel was clean but the poor quality staff really made the difference. As I checked out I learned that I owed $14.00 pesos for calls made from my room! TWO LOCAL CALLS!!! Also, I asked the reception to have a taxi waiting for me at 6am and they never placed the call. Terrible experience.
The attention is good and they are very polite, they asked you for your stayed at the end and they always have a good face for you. The hotel is clean and very good located, but they don't have toothpaste and didn't take my plates after room service until the next day.
I had the opportunity to stay at NH Queretaro for a couple of days during a recent business trip. The hotel is very modern and functional. I had everything I needed and it is conveniently located, a taxi ride will get you to downtown in less than 5 minutes. The Staff was very friendly and efficient. Heck, They got me a taxi ride within two minutes! Breakfast was delicious and there are plenty of healthy options on their menu. I will be coming back soon since Queretaro is a fantastic city to visit and this is a great place to stay at!
Having stayed in other NH hotels this one in Queretaro seems basic. But don´t be mistaken. The staff is friendly and attend to your requests immediately. The food is good offering a buffet for breakfast with plenty of natural juices and fruits and also a buffet dinner. One can walk to the hotel from the bus terminal across the street. Because of the avenue the cars can be noisy at night but not very much. I´ve stayed on the 3rd floor and it was OK. It has a Gym and a pair of computers for the public. Free WiFi in the room.
first of all, queretaro and guanajuato are my 2 favorite mexican cities. i have been to queretaro several times but this trip was made even better by my stay at this great hotel. the beds are so comfortable. so many amenities are offered here. i was able to use the small gym, the staff can get you a taxi in five minutes and the overall helpfulness of the staff was a pleasant surprise. Marisol, the head of sales, was one of the most helpful staff members i have ever known in an hotel. she politely made sure i got a room of my choice and that all my needs were met. she even made sure i got the best breakfast during my whole trip. the restaurant breakfast was the best meal of my trip. my friend had omelettes and i had several tacos with delicious salsa. they even offered soy milk, granola and "jugos verde." i was very impressed. I cannot thank Marisol enough. she should be promoted to a higher position. she was so professional. I have no complaints. Downtown is a short 5 minute taxi ride into town. queretaro is always recommended and i will return and i will stay at NH again, no doubt. this place has got it all covered.
Some hotels in Queretaro were full and we found place and good price in NH Queretaro. The staff is nice but the rooms are a little noisy. In order to go to downtown we walked almost 1km but the way is nice too.
The hotel is good enough, mostly for business not tourism as there is nothing around to see or buy anything, not even an small store. The food is very good, that is the reason I stayed, it is clean, the people working there is nice. The bed is very good. The parking lot was very good too. What I did no't like was the room key, it was not working properly, the configuration was missed every two days,it was not comfortable to get to the room to find that the key was AGAIN not opening. A not disturb tag in the door could also help, my room didn't have one. Also I have an issue with my bills I am not getting my receipts on time, the emails are not being answered and now I am on the rush on delivering my bills on time. Still waiting.
