The rooms are very large, compared to the Holiday Inn next door apparently. The hotel seems quite new and modern. Breakfast was included and it had lots of selection. Service from the front desk and breakfast staff was good. The rooftop area with the jacuzzis was very nice! The pool over at the Holiday Inn next door was unfortunately very busy and it wasn't possible to get a pool lounger on the weekend. They have a new building to host private events, so its too bad it interferes with guest's use of the pool area.
very nice staff, the rooms amazing and clean. with many amenities. Well located. Parking a bit of aproblem but the staff solves it for you.. good breakfast and wifi. very secure. good service at reception and breakfast
Hotel is fairly new, rooms are spacious, well maintained. Helpful staff, good security. Nice terrace. Close to centro historico. Holiday Inn next door has a nice restaurant and open late if you need a bite. Breakfast is simple but good. Well stocked and staffed. Good beds and wifi. Been here about five times.
I stayed 1 Night, as memember IHG upgrade my room, all OK. I moved out to meetings and come back 11 am for woking in relax in my room, but was bad idea, Fire Alarm Sound in On arroun 10 or 15 times per Drill all morning, remains me altered and decide check out for continue my business travel to other city.
Normally they have good service, but from time to time reception personal could definitely have a better attitude, also they should have rooms with only one bed. Besides that this is my choice of preference when traveling to Queretaro on business.
My husband and I spent a night here at the end of a 5 week trip from San Miguel de Allende through the Yucatan Peninsula and beyond. The Holiday Inn Express in Queretaro is beautiful and has a great location near the beautiful Mall. I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The lobby is artistic and the juice was refreshing.
The rooms are bigs , you can access to the pool and green areas of the traditional Holiday-inn , but the jacuzzi doesn't works and the poor equipment of the gim , this about the price , but in general its good
We have been there for a business trip. The hotel is a no frills hotel, close to an intersection, ca. 10 minutes drive to downtown Queretaro. I was really pleasantly surprised by the modern equipped and very spacious rooms. The staff is very nice and helpful. Wifi is sufficiently fast. Overall a good location, when you have business matters on the outskirts of town.
The HIE hotel is located on the access road along the very busy hwy 57, the hotel is well marked as you can see the hotel from the road. It is a no frills modern hotel. We arrived for a week stay having flown in late and check-in was very quick and efficient. Parking is limited, however security will park your vehicle if there are no spots available. Speaking of security I found that there are always two security on duty 24/7 as is front desk staff. I have to commend Oscar from security as he worked 16 strait hours since a co-worker did not show and also the lady from security, don't recall her name but I found her one day helping out in the breakfast area. Both should be financially rewarded for going above and beyond. Someone commented that the hallways were loud but they are carpeted. Breakfast is typical Holiday Inn express with scrambled eggs, coffee, OJ, cereal, pastries etc. I would suggest adding Sausage, Pancakes and Bacon to the buffet line. The Holiday Inn hotel is literally next door and I recommend the burger, very good as any you can have in the states, the restaurant is available if you don't care for the HIE breakfast. The rooms we staying featured a small kitchen type area with small fridge, sink and microwave. Bedding was very comfortable if a little small. A/C was excellent as was the hot water for shower and the water pressure. Water for mouth rinsing (2 bottles) was provided free but it wasn't necessary. WiFi Internet was very good for streaming.
No pool or gigantic spaces. But neither are needed. I stayed at a room with kitchenette and double beds. Had free breakfast (buffette), used the gym and jacuzzi. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Prices are really accessible and interiors are elegant and well kept. It has many added bonuses for business people like meeting room and conference bridges, internet, faxing and photocopies.
