Dirty, humid, uncomfortable, noisy, and there are RATS!!!!! I paid for 3 nights, and I want to leave but they won't refund my money, which is about $45 USD. Nor will they let me change to a different room.

My husband and I stayed in this hostel for 4 days, we had a private room with a private bathroom. I booked it because the place looked good on the photos, it was centrally located, and the rates were reasonable. I originally wrote a request in English (assuming somebody on the staff spoke it, since they had a web-site in English). I got a response back in Spanish. For me it wasn't a problem to communicate back, as I do speak the language, but I think it demonstrated very poor organizational and communication skills on the part of the hostel's management. The ladies that run the place were reserved, but helpful when asked questions (in Spanish). We didn't see any foreigners staying in the place, only Mexicans. The room we got was very spacious and clean, with a king-size bed that was actually comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. We had a great view to the church. But our biggest frustration was with the unpleasant noise church bells would make every morning: starting at 6 am, then twice more every 15 minutes... Sometimes they would ring at midnight also... We didn't have a single night of uninterrupted sleep at that place. Other negative things: - Wi-fi only worked at the 1st floor, by the reception desk. - Kitchen was only available between 8 am - 8 pm. - Water tank is located underground with it's opening at the ground level, and it didn't have a lid on it - anything could get inside during rain, and we saw bugs floating on water surface... We only discovered this at the end of our stay - definitely not recommended brushing your teeth with tap-water.

I stayed at the hostel for about a week, during which time the bathroom was cleaned once. Unfortunately, they forgot the toilet. People started throwing their used toilet paper on the floor cause the bin was overflowing, and the floor was so dirty that it grossed me out to take a shower. In only stayed there because it was the cheapest I could find, and on the plus side, the beds are good and have curtains. The management was always trying to get more money out of people....for example, there was one girl who stayed there for a month, and on her last day she asked if she could leave her backpack in the hostel for a few hours after checkout. The manager told her it would be 50 pesos per hour to leave her bag in the (completely empty) dorm. She ended up paying for an extra night cause that was cheaper than paying for storage. Also, if you stay here, try to get a dorm upstairs. The ones downstairs are tiny and don´t have windows. Oh, and don´t use booking.com for this hostel. They will take your money but ignore your booking.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures they show on their site. The woman who was in charge of the reception was very helpful and the hotel has very convenient location: near downtown. Nevertheless, the room looked abandoned and dirty. There were hairs in the pillows, the shower didn't have water (neither hot nor cold…no water at all), the room was very cold and full of dust.

Amazing situation, just next to Santa Rosa de Viterbo. Quite cheap - paid around 380 euros (325 pounds) for two weeks, in a semi-private room for two (shared bathroom - private room). Only one bathroom for the whole floor though, very annoying. The wifi is very bad, disconnecting all the time. Won't recommend breakfast, it's quite bad... Even if the vue is perfect, the noise coming from the dancing water with music is very disturbing and quite irritating. But the hostal is quite central and there is a nice bar and a nice restaurant (with good burritos and quesadillas) just next to it. There is also a supermarket (Mega) 5-10 minutes walking from there. Taxis are quite easy to grab, except at night.

Everything is terrible in this hostel! After a very long flight, we arrived to this place only to find hair on the pillow and bed sheets. Noise was so loud outside the hostel, couldn't sleep all night! Couldn't shower in the bathroom because of the way it looked! What's worse is that the lady at the reception doesn't even speak one word of English so we couldn't even complain or ask her for any tips. The location is not in a very decent area, definitely can find better..cancelled our stay for the second night and stayed in another amazing hostel.

DO NOT stay in this hostel! There was hair on the pillow and the bed sheets, and stains on the bed cover! We couldn't use the bed cover or the pillow and had to sleep on the side of the bed! To use the fan, the light has to be on, so we had to keep the lights on all night! The bathroom had no toilet paper! We couldn't complain to Maria (the person in charge) as she only spoke Spanish. The location of the hostel was ok but there are way better options. We stayed in this hostel for a night and then moved to Kuku Ruku, which was excellent!!

Worst place to stay in. Not worth a dime. The location is horrible, in a very sketchy area. The place is dirty, insects in bed, hair on the pillows, dirty everywhere. The person in charge, Maria, asked for a money transfer before we got there and would not confirm our booking until she received the money. Then she made us pay for the first night's stay as soon as we got there. After seeing how horrible the place was and cancelling the rest of the nights, she never gave us back our money, stopped replying to the emails we sent. No use to call her because she only speaks Spanish. Full of insects, super noisy, very unfriendly. Never again. There are many other cleaner, cheaper, friendlier even much nicer hostels in Queretaro. Don't waste your time or money on this.

Really nice place. Owners are friendly and the place is small. A few dorms and private rooms. While there's only a few, the place itself is spread out in a huge building. Free wifi and breakfast included. Would definitely recomment. There is a really nice Cathedral with a fountain next to the hostel. Situated neat good restaurant.

the most new place on queretaro in on the center of queretaro, clean and good rates for more than one nite, and good breakfast and large kithen facility new bed gear and two tv rooms, safe and internet free, the owner are good and nice persons and the workers super frendly`s, only 35 pesos from bus station, i recomend this place like the most clean and secure... the price are the best only $180 pesos per nite with breakfast include, tours info., and much more, from here you can go to xilitla and real de 14, safe and the best of mexico...
