Bad experience in the restaurant, went to eat breakfast and I waited more than 15 minutes to get a waiter, without smiled,he looked upset, after 20 minutes served my food, still without smiled,no eye contact, after 5 minutes I asked him for a napkin and the waiter still looked upset, the food is very good but the breakfast service is the worst;I decided to eat in my room and called to room service to order my diner and the order taker got upset when I asked to her for the kind of bread of salmon sandwich, unbelievable! I understand this kind of empleyees do not represent the company.I have stayed several times in holiday inn in differents countries and this is the first time with this kind of problems
Great place, great people. Except for the pools evict, I waited and waited and waited for a margarita... Never came
Had to just spend one night in Queretaro so we decided on a familiar option. Check in was super quick and without a problem. Didnt have to leave a credit card. Booked the poolside room for an extra ten dollars and its worth it. Your balcony door opens right onto the green grass and pool area. This would be ideal for families travelling. Its also good for smokers, as all of the other rooms require for you to walk outside of the hotel to smoke. Pool was big enough and didnt have a bunch of screaming kids in it. Many areas to sit beside the pool as well with prompt waiter service for drinks and food. Bar inside is nice. 5 USD for a beer. Rooms are spacious and clean. Also, three small hot tubs beside the pool too. Check out wasnt a problem. Just ask the front desk for a taxi and it will be there in no time. Roughly 6 USD to get to the center of town from this hotel. Overall, a great place to stay for families. Many businessmen also stay in the hotel, so it has a great reputation.
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. A great value for the price charged.
This hotel had beautiful decor and comfortable beds. Similar to a stay back in the States at a holiday inn, only concern was there didn't seem to be enough staff on hand to handle rush of Easter week, we had to request twice to have our room cleaned on the Saturday and it finally got done by 6:00 p.m. Other days of our week stay we had no problems with this issue. Kids loved the pool and hot tubs! Also excellent wifi in the room.
My main interest was a hotel that had shuttle to the airport and this one had it. I was there only for about 6 hours. I didn't have a chance to enjoy most of the amenities but it was a pleasant hotel.
The only thing that realy I didn't like is that the not smoking room still smell like smoke and they don't have a penalty policy who smoke in a non smoking room due to In Mexico is not ilegal to smoke in enclosed areas. Just make sure to guaranty that item & make sure they smell it before ofering.

Just fine
The staff is friendly and the food at the restaurant is excellent!
Very friendly and helpful staff/ very comfortable if Spanish is not spoken/ convenient to Queretaro historic downtown plaza which is very safe and has some excellent places to eat and experience the culture/ great food and bar at hotel with convenient business hours for service.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. I do not speak Spanish and they helped me with translation and with drivers. The hotel has a very nice gift shop and restaurant. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone traveling to Queretero, Mx. I will stay there if I am required to travel back.
