Dona Urraca was a good hotel. Rooms are OK but I thought to get in and out of my room it was kind of weird, I don’t know but I felt strange. Make sure you get the rooms in the back of the hotel or you end up Sleeping in the front desk with all the noise. Rooms are very specious and CLEAN and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was not included so you will Have to pay at their restaurant. Breakfast is very good, but if you leave early make sure you have something the night before as they open their service at 8am. If you have some kind of walking disability make sure you talk with hotel before because it has a lot of stairs with no ramps, elevators.

Perfect location! A short stroll into town, near many amazing restaurants all the attractions and we also walked to the viewing point of the aqua ducts. The service was amazing, from the check in desk, restaurant staff and cleaning. The rooms were spotless, modern with a traditional charm and a great size. They were so helpful as we were travelling with a baby. The staff were very friendly and many spoke english which was helpful sometimes as our Spanish isn't fluent. Pool was such a great way to relax after being out all day or first thing in the morning on the days we wanted to relax. We also thought the pool side drinks and snacks were great. We enjoyed the breakfast and I ordered a la cart the Huevos del campo which were tasty and healthy. Couple friendly and family friendly, and wheelchair / stroller friendly Highly recommend *****

Been there a few times and always enjoy the staff, the location, the rooms (avoid 112 I think, because of the ongoing water pump banging noise...), the amazing Sunday brunch buffet...it’s a lovely, human size, well maintained and equipped hotel. Staff is very helpful and will do their best to care for your stay. Weekdays breakfast is pretty good too, in particular all the local fruits. A great choice overall.

The “suites” are only half as gorgeous as they look in pictures. We had to be moved to a second suite (although smaller) because of AC and out of order screens and others. Service at the restaurant is THE POOREST. In addition, we had to pay about PESOS 1,000. Because the “included allowance” that came with the suite was insufficient to cover a fruit dish, eggs, coffee, and sweet bread. I DEFINITELY DO NOR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. There are other hotels in the Centro Histórico very we’ll located and, undoubtedly, staffed with competent waiters, etc.

Just had a short weekend stay to relax between business. Great pool area, Sunday breakfast and fantastic rooms that open to the fresh air. Well worth the price Inside has great decor. Luv the room to room variations. Staff very helpful. Plus you are in downtown Queretaro What fun!

This hotel was selected by our tour group and did not disappoint. Pretty room with comfortable bed and nice appointments. Walking distance to main square and many restaurants. Good breakfast and pleasant service

Absolutely beautiful hotel in an excellent location with lovely grounds. We were upgraded to a beautiful room for our honeymoon, and what a treat that was. The sunday buffet breakfast was incredible, with the freshest selection we have encountered. The room was really special with lovely views over the grounds. Some of the things that could be improved were as follows: - The pool could be 2-3 degrees warmer in the winter - The wifi could be improved in the rooms - The TV did not seem to work Thank you again for an amazing honeymoon.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary’s the Doña Urraca. We wanted to have dinner at the “chefs table” or “mesa de cava” and did not want to have to worry about the traffic on our way home; we live in Querétaro. My wife is from a city a few hours north of Querétaro and I am from the midwestern US. The hotel is very beautiful. It is a colonial building just a few minutes walk from some of the central plazas of the central historical part of the city. The hotel and restaurant are very well kept and very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and were updated considering it is a colonial building. There is a beautiful center courtyard with a pool and whirlpool tub. Our room (205) was great, really well done and very clean. Really there were no negatives. The dinner was excellent and the location is perfect. The “chefs table” dinner is private and is in what looks like a wine cellar; it is quite beautiful and very romantic. The dinner was 5 courses and all were delicious. The quality of the food and service was extraordinary. The only downside of the dinner was the horrible wine; it was the wine included with the dinner. The wine was a local vineyard. Querétaro has been trying to develop the area as a wine region and many of the local hotels and restaurants are trying to support this effort. Everything is perfect for this area to be a wine region and a tourist destination for wine; except, the wine is horrible. You can drink the wine and it will not kill you, but it cannot be enjoyed. It is really horrible. (For my wife, the wine is not horrible; but she does not think it is good.) I did not speak English with any of the staff but if do not speak Spanish, I do not think communication in English would be a problem. I did hear the staff speaking English with other guests. My wife and I really had a great time.

Just like an old book, from the entrance doesn't really look as amazing as it is once you enter it's lobby. The staff is incredible welcoming and kind. The garden area with its pool invites you to a full relaxation. And the rooms are impecable! We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. And definetely will recommend it and even come back.
