We got upgraded to a 1-bedroom apartment, which was amazing!! The apartment is very clean & well-equipped, plenty of space for two people, came with complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits, and we could store our luggage with at the Reception on the day we checked out. The staff was friendly. The room was a little older but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is walking distance to the city center and a grocery store. Also walkable to the gondola which is one of the main attractions of the city. I would stay there again. The price was fair and the WiFi worked well. Only small complaint would be that the shower had no cool temperature. It was hot or hotter.

Happy with the private bathroom. The room was basic but clean. Glad to have our own private carpark. Pinewood is close to the gondola; so it's in a convenient location. It's pricey for what you get (compared to Tasmania where we're from). But everything's overpriced in Queenstown.
