The hotel is situated for nice views, but the weather was overcast. Having a washing machine was nice. The room was rather chilly. Overall it was very nice.

We stayed in a studio suite which had a nice kitchenette area, plenty of room to spread out and even included a washer/dryer. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the property was very nice as well.

Excellent Convenient Comfortable Very good restaurant

Situated on an elevated slope over looking the lake, I would say the hotel has the best view of Queenstown! Close to town centre yet just off the main road, quiet and magnificent view. Hotel slightly outdated, bathroom needs renovation, but the view make everything fine. Will definitely return.

We were there over the Holiday. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding a Christmas eve dinner, ordering a taxi and storing our luggage when we went on a trip to Milford Sound. Also I left items in the safe and all was recovered and stored for me. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared with lots of choices.

Good value 2 min driving distance from Qtown. Hotel bit dated but rooms are good. Bit noisy if facing the road as the road is busy and the windows let noise in.beds are very soft almost too much. And couch was bit dated but still ok to use.

Near to town and waterfront, very helpful in finding weather and available tours

Was only a quick visit to attend a function but the staff and hotel were great. The best bit was being away from noise of traffic. The worst was not being able to get wifi to work

The hotel was very central to everything the view was to die for looking out to the water the room was very comfortable. what let it down was the service in the dining room not courteous or friendly

A short walk from the noise and bustle of downtown. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Very helpful staff provided suggestions for things to do and maps for our journey onward. Free (but limited) WiFi and underground parking.

Short walk outside town up a lovely hill along lake. Scenic views from many rooms. Nicest hotel staff I encountered in all of NZ. Loved the rooms with their bathrobes and practical closets with shelves. Lobby has beautiful character and a stylish, cozy restaurant and coffee bar. Underground parking with elevator was very convenient.

The location is good, near to the main road and with lake Wakatipu view. Free WIFI and clean comfortable room.

We had a very enjoyable time at the hotel. Th eloaction view was fantastic howe ver it is a little out of town along walk The staff iexcellent and was very helpful in evaluating alternates on tthigns to do and made all the arrangements

We stayed 2 nights at the Heritage. The room was very nice, included a kitchenette fully supplied, even had a washer/dryer. The bed was very comfortable. Marble in bath, which had separate shower and tub. Balcony with table and chairs, and very large room. My only complaint was the wifi, which was advertised as free. In the room it had a card to tell of the cost. I called the desk to ask about free wifi, and was told I had to go to the lobby, and was allocated one (continuous) hour a day for free from the lobby, only. Location to town is a bit far, and we had to drive, and try to find parking. Pool and spa were very nice, also. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location is perfect and the staff are very helpful and responsive to request for help. Parking was easy and rooms are in great shape, even bathroom mirrors are heated . Overall a very nice hotel!

This hotel just past downtown Queenstown offered some beautiful views of the Remarkables from the top floor. Beware if you're limited mobility-wise, though, as the elevator only went to the floor below the top floor. Free wifi in the lobby worked great too.

We could not have asked for much more from this well organized alpine resort and value. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. We would come back again .

The hotel is decent although it is a bit dated. Also, there seems to be a number newer hotels that are all closer to downtown. There's a free bus to downtown that leaves every 15-20 minutes, but if you stay out late, it becomes less frequent. Staff are friendly and helpful although that's Queenstown in general. We did get a spa package while there. Problem is that while they have the facilities for a Day Spa, its managed by another company. So, when you want to book something, it becomes a bit tedious trying to set things up with the receptionist.

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback from your stay with us at the Heritage Queenstown. Most of our guests like that we are away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and you are right - the stroll in to town does take it out of you, but the scenery is beautiful. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your room and we hope you are keen to return in the future. Kind regards Luke Thorne Duty Manager
