Stayed at this hotel for one night and really liked it ! The room was clean, no carpet, the bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was ok !! The location is great and easy access. I recommend and would stay there again !!
Business women beware. I was travelling through Sainte Foy with my husband and son who were accompanying me on a business trip. I had booked online a one night stay at this hotel as it was not my final destination. When I arrived at the hotel after a five hour drive the hotel reception clerk checked me in, took an imprint of my credit card and proceeded to confirm the rate at which I had booked. He asked me to prove that I was on official business but I did not know how to do that because I was in transit and my business was not in Sainte Foy. So I showed my business ID card but that was not enough. The hotel reception clerk said he needed a letter from my employer which I found very odd and having none he said he had to charge me the regular rate which happened to be $30 more than the non business advertised online rate. In other words, had I booked the regular rate online, it would have cost me $199/night. He was charging me $229/night. The business rate was $179/night. I asked to see the manager but none was on premise. He told me to pay the higher rate and discuss it with her the next morning. I had another long day of driving the next day so I opted to cancel my reservation on the spot. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing. I will never again book this hotel. I wrote the management that same evening and they stand by their hotel staff. It is poor business as far as I am concerned. It basically cost me some grief but them even more. One would wonder if it was all worth the $50?
Very clean rooms, with excellent ,maintenance. Excellent breakfast and clean service. Better than expected and certainly above average. Excellent experience and will for sure return in the future. Excellent.
Loved the quiet, out-of-the way location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and made every effort to speak English to us! The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing!! We were very pleased with the hot breakfast that was made available. I would not only recommend this hotel to everyone, but I would return if in the area again!!
Our family group stayed for four nights in July 2017 using two rooms. The rooms were excellent. Breakfast was very well managed and was very good. It could use some menu variation. The single biggest problem was the wifi. It was constantly off and on. This prevented me from doing some planned work. I called the support number. They were courteous and rebooted the system but couldn't stop the problem. I was told that the hotel has an old obsolete system badly in need of updating. The other problem was the pool. It is billed as a spa/pool but fails in both regards. It is to small to swim and comes up short as a hot tub. There were always kids jumping in a much to small area. The value was OK for the area but we will shop around next time. It just wasn't up to what we expect from the brand.
Stayed here in the king bedroom kitchenette suite. Very large clean room. Couch opens to a queen so a good room for families. There is a safe mini fridge and microwave. The aquarium is a ten minute walk. And everything is close by. Many restaurants within a few minutes drive. Staff is very friendly. I love that the rooms have wood floors rather than carpeting. The only downfall was there is no Pool only a very large spa.
Overall the whole three nights were very great. Room was clean. Confy bed and sheets as well confy pillow. Staff were great and professional. Breakfast was okay. wish they could have more Healthy choice
Very nice hotel wish there was a microwave to warm up our food. The staff were very friendly the breakfast was excellent. Very relaxing environment. The hotel and suites were very clean. Wish you had a separate area for kitchen appliances.
The hotel is staffed by helpful & courteous employees. It's a very nice place to stay and the shuttle makes it very easy to get to Old Quebec City-no need to drive once you're there! The rooms are comfortable-very clean & modern. It's also very nice to have breakfast included.
We are in the new section, room 330. LOVE the room!! King bed and pillows are very comfortable! Bathroom has shower only, but nice tile and very big! beautiful grey wood and tiled floors. Breakfast was very good. Hot -sausage patties, sausage links beans and scrambled eggs, variety of baked goods. They were very busy because of the Tall Ships, but kept the tables cleaned as soon as someone finished up. It's right next to the highway but noise was not that bad. It's about 20 min. drive to Quebec City little traffic for the time of day we went. You could also take their shuttle or Uber if you chose to. I would definitely come here again when going to Quebec.
