Check in process was poor. The gentleman who checked us in kept walking away randomly and disappearing for 5 to 10 minutes. He eventually came back and asked us if we wanted a King. I asked if King was available and he said no. So I’m not sure why he even mentioned it. He then proceeded to give us a room. That was not a queen room. It had a full size bed. And was the size of a shoebox. Not at all what we had booked. After a terrible night sleep, we asked the front desk staff if there was another room available that had a queen size bed. The gentleman who was helping I said that we should’ve never been given that room because they all know it’s only a full-size bed, and it should only be used for a single person. Not sure why they didn’t give us a proper room in the first place. They did correct the issue and gave us a nice room the next night. However, it was right above where they were taking the trash out at 3 AM which went on for about 45 minutes of banging of trash cans. We complain about this issue at check out, and they credited to our account for the valet parking. But clearly this is ongoing issue at this hotel. I was expecting more from this property. In general the staff were helpful and well trained.
