Amazing as usual! Fairmont is our favorite hotel !!!!!!!!

The Chateau is gorgeous. Old world style and charm with welcoming staff who are very accommodating. Even Daphnie, the hotel chien (doggie) welcomes you warmly. Well appointed, comfortable rooms have great views of either the mighty icy St Lawrence or of the rich architecture of the city. Meals are phenomenal, from seared fois gras down to the truffle popcorn. Lazy afternoons or evenings in the bar enjoying well prepared attractive drinks overlooking the river contribute to fond memories that last a lifetime. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting Quebec. If you venture outside the hotel, some of our favorites: For dinner, Saint Amour, high end, delectable, unique cuisine, never a disappointment. For lunch, Anciens d'Canadiens, where traditional pea soup, the caribou with blueberries in puff pastry and maple pie are long time savory favorites. I think Quebec is one of the most romantic cities on the planet. Even if you don't take a horse drawn carriage ride in the snow! Magnifique!

Historic beautiful landmark building with best location. Excellent service, specially gold lounge staffs. Room was a bit small but well maintained. Well worth it!!

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights and it was delightful ! Plenty to do and see in the immediate area and the hotel staff knew so much about the area and the hotel itself !

The Chateaux Frontenac is a vast, grand elegant structure that give you the feel of old world luxury with modern amenities. The staff looked after our every need and the restaurants in the hotel were just fantastic. That goes for all of the restaurants that we dined at in the Old City. They are a little on the pricey side, but we are the type who pick our destination based on the food. If you are one to follow your pallet, the Chateaux Frontenac is a perfectly situated base in a picturesque location that will please all of your appetites. We shall return!

The hotel is a legend and worth staying however I think breakfast is overpriced and the amenities should improve a bit

Close to restaurant and plenty of shopping. In the middle of the old town.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. The hotel, staff, amenities, and location were phenomenal. We ate/drank at Bistro Le Sam and the 1608 bar a few times, and they were both great. The food, service, decor, and atmosphere were all impressive. Each staff member we came into contact with during our stay was extremely personable and helpful. Just the overall feel of the entire place is absolutely fantastic. Also, the location is great. It's a minute or two walking distance to Old Quebec, which has a ton of shops, restaurants, and historical things to enjoy. It's also right outside of Quartier Petit Champlain, which is also amazing. Overall, my wife enjoyed everything about our experience at the hotel, as well as Quebec itself. Highly recommend.

Great location to see the Christmas lights and markets in the old city. They need to do a better job on cleaning the ice and snow off the sidewalks and boardwalk outside the hotel.

The château was gorgeous! The food at the hotel was expensive, but it is a château, so that was a given. They gave us a bonus...25 per day per room, and you could combine them, so we had a great breakfast pretty much for free. We did not know about this perk, so it was a pleasant surprise. The location is great, as well as the room and the accommodations in them. I cannot wait to stay there again!

We do a lot of traveling around the world and have stayed at very, very nice places. This hotel was wonderful for the money. First class. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and the place was historic, elegant and very very clean! We LOVED it!!! Close to everything...within walking distance and very romantic!!!!

Beautiful facade. Inside space except for lobby is dated. Our room was very dark- could hardly see the coffee pot buttons. Carpet old and dark. Bed was lumpy- very thin comforter. If you are looking for history stay there if you are seeking luxury don’t stay there.

Beautiful and luxurious hotel - you MUST get the meat and cheese plate at bar 1608.

Everything was perfect. Great food great staff, close to everything

Wish we could have stayed longer, the hotel was so convenient and full of amenities. Will definitely go back!

Very elegant and classy hotel, within walking distance of all there is to do and see in the Old City of Quebec Fantastic location Due to a wedding event at the hotel, they left us a note under our door, offering to relocate us to another room as the music was 2 floors below and would be ongoing till 0100 hrs. Doing so, it was a wonderful upgrade. People make hotels, and everyone on staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome

I would not want to stay anywhere else in Quebec city than the Cateau Frontenac. It is a lovely old hotel with refurbished rooms. Stay on the gold floors with a River View. you won't regret it.

It was lovely to stay in such an historic place and the location is great. The staff we encountered were wonderful. The concierge was helpful and was able to get us a rental car we would not have been able to get ourselves. Our room was lovely and had a great view.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service and food! I loved that there was a "Hotel Dog". Daphne is a precious addition to the hotel lobby. The only negative was that there isn't FREE wifi and it costs money to use the internet in the business center.

Everything about our Stay in this Hotel was perfect, if we have a chance we"ll go back!!!
