Everything was perfect. Great food great staff, close to everything

Wish we could have stayed longer, the hotel was so convenient and full of amenities. Will definitely go back!

Very elegant and classy hotel, within walking distance of all there is to do and see in the Old City of Quebec Fantastic location Due to a wedding event at the hotel, they left us a note under our door, offering to relocate us to another room as the music was 2 floors below and would be ongoing till 0100 hrs. Doing so, it was a wonderful upgrade. People make hotels, and everyone on staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome

I would not want to stay anywhere else in Quebec city than the Cateau Frontenac. It is a lovely old hotel with refurbished rooms. Stay on the gold floors with a River View. you won't regret it.

It was lovely to stay in such an historic place and the location is great. The staff we encountered were wonderful. The concierge was helpful and was able to get us a rental car we would not have been able to get ourselves. Our room was lovely and had a great view.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service and food! I loved that there was a "Hotel Dog". Daphne is a precious addition to the hotel lobby. The only negative was that there isn't FREE wifi and it costs money to use the internet in the business center.

Everything about our Stay in this Hotel was perfect, if we have a chance we"ll go back!!!

Le Chateau Frontenac deserves its good reputation. The one problem I had with the hotel itself (an air conditioner that was blowing air that wasn't cooling the room with a dial that wouldn't turn) was fixed while I went out to dinner on my first evening. The place is just beautiful and situated magnificently with the river and the old town on one side and the rest of the city on the other. I've never been in a city (and I've been in a city!) where I could walk to absolutely every destination I chose. The staff of concierges do spectacular work of providing directions (and drawing routes on maps!) and making reservations. Their approach to customer service is the top of the line. They made my stay a huge success. The only negatives involve noise; the exceptionally loud combo simply drove me from the Sam bar on Thursday evening. A little jazz is a good thing. In a low-ceilinged room with all amps set at 10 (or 6000), the music is killed as surely as conversation and relaxation. Such a decibel level can only be described as pain, not music; I fled. I had already fled the 1608 bar earlier in the week because over an amplified sound system was playing an angry man screaming about something against a back-up group playing 2 notes over and over again. That night, the Sam was nice and quiet I hope these comments are taken to heart, if only because the decision to play ugly "music" loudly reduced what I spent at the bar.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great location. Rooms and beds feel dusty though

Great hotel, only negative was street noise very late, if a concern be carefull where your room is located

A wonderful two nights. Room was pleasing, dinner at Sam was delicious. Buffet in morning was great. One of the best buffets in or out of a hotel. Worth every penny. Hotel overall is top notch.

Competent and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Attention to the smallest details. Not super modern, but to offer modern decor and other updates would diminish the 19th century charm of the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this iconic property -- our bed was comfortable and staff fairly helpful. Some quibbles -- our fifth floor room was well-located, beautiful view on river side. But very loud with all day and evening entertainment just outside. The room was a King and was good sized but the bathroom was TINY and not consistent with the standard of the hotel. Plugs/charging facilities very outdated (few outlets, no USB ports). Concierge helpful at first in sorting out a restaurant issue but then never followed up -- ultimately unhelpful. Felt a bit nickel and dimed -- fee to walk thru the hotel art gallery, no guest discount for tour of the hotel (!!). Be careful in the hotel bar -- some drinks (a kir royale at, I think 40 dollars?) have hefty price tags of which bar staff did not warn us. Overall good experience, honestly, but more annoyances and glitches than we might have expected.

River view room allows a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence river as well as activities on the promenade. Easy to walk and jog on the promenade to the Les Plaines d'Abraham from the hotel. Reception and concierge services were excellent. Room was spotless and lunch at Sam restaurant was enjoyable

I can't say enough about this property. It is in the perfect location and is stunning. The bedroom was beautifully appointed and comfortable for my family of four.

From the moment you approach this grand hotel, you immediately feel as though you have stepped back in time, charm, character and elegance! The staff and concierge service, second to none! One of the best places We have ever been.

The room was beautiful as was the hotel. Everything was extremely comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. The spa services (facial and massage) were also excelllent. The only con is that the breakfast, which is a great buffet, is rather expensive when compared to the other dining options in the area.

We had a wonderful time, very friendly people all around.

Wonderful experience staying at this hotel fir Eater. Centrally located, in a great location!

The staff could not have been more helpful. Our bags were lost by the airline so the woman at the front desk sent personal care packages for both my wife and I (they were at the door before we had even sat down). The doorman brought our luggage to us as soon as it had arrived and the cleaning crew did not leave a trace if dust. The food was exceptional. All around high marks.
