The room was disappointing. Some parts of the floor were worn and uncomfortable to walk on. The bathroom drained very slowly, and there was an unpleasant odor throughout the room, similar to sweaty feet after exercise. I also found several hairs at the bottom of the pillows, which made the stay feel less clean than expected.

The hotel was average overall. The towels had a strong chlorine smell, and the bathroom showed signs of rust. The handles were poorly designed, making it difficult to control the water temperature. There were no convenient wall outlets for charging devices—only a single plug located at the base of a light fixture. Additionally, the property does not offer breakfast, though there is a McDonald's across the street.

We stayed one night here and we wouldn't have stayed more than that. I read some of the reviews and decided to upgrade to the "executive room" when I couldn't find another hotel to meet our needs. While the room appeared to have been renovated recently, the washroom was old. Stripped paint, ancient accessories and crammed with the iron and ironing board (the water pressure was good though). The musty/weed scent was evident upon entry and particularly to the hallway leading to the room. It was okay to stay for the night, but wasn't worth the upgrade!
