Beautiful room and setting near everything in Old Quebec
We were on 4th floor, with a winding staircase and no elevator so that was very difficult. Good location to city. No actual staff on location, but didn't really need anyone. All keycodes. The rooms are not equal in decorations and I would not recommend taking a 4th floor room, low ceilings and less impressive furnishings.
This hotel puts you right in the middle of the old world ambiance of Quebec City. Expect this hotel to be quaint, and part of the experience - not a full-service luxury stay but something closer to the ground and more real life.
This hotel is in the heart of the old town. Great location and very well done.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We loved our stay here.
Our experience was excellent in almost every aspect. Our wi-fi reception, however, was spotty. We were on the third floor. Homey and exceptionally clean. La Buche the nearby restaurant which they recommend is casual and delicious! The third floor would be tough to climb for some elderly folks. Overall we would def stay again and highly recommend.
Wonderful hotel in perfect location. Best staff I have encountered in a very long time.
The hotel is an old home built in 1854. It was converted to a hotel many years ago. The bath in our room was recently remodeled (modern with marble floors and shower walls). The room was well appointed with period furniture. Comfortable bed and new air-conditioning unit. Well located in Old Quebec City. Convenient to restaurants, attractions and parks. Well worth the stay.
We had a terrific time staying at this cute hotel! It was convenient, clean, and adorably decorated!
I stayed 2 nights on the 3rd floor. This place impresses from the moment you enter the ornately decorated lobby (a Victorian Salon) and continues to impress as you wind your way up the dramatic spiral staircase to the stunningly decorated room with exposed stone wall, double windows for soundproofing, and very comfortable bed with high end linens. I didn't eat breakfast here, but it smelled wonderful. The location is great - close to upper town but easy walk to lower town, cathedral and view spots. You do need to be ok with steep stairs, but honestly, if you are not, walking around Quebec City is probably not going to be a good experience for you in anyway.
Lovely décor, good bed, very clean room and bathroom. Minimal interaction with staff.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Diane. Our establishment was built in the 1800s and, unfortunately, cannot support the installation of an elevator. We try to be as transparent as possible with this information and apologize if it was not made clear. We hope you enjoyed your stay nonetheless in our beautiful city.
