We spent a week here. The stay was cheaper than the Paradisus, but we got to enjoy both resorts. The beach is beautiful and the restaurants are great as well. Since it is all inclusive, the only downside was the drinks being a bit weak. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

I have mixed feeling. Staff are very nice and work so hard to make sure we get a good time. Unfortunately the foods is the same every day, though they are many.

Beautiful beach and pool. I had a pool view room at the reserve. The room was small. It was kept clean. The restaurants that I’ve visited, vento, bana, aqua and fuego were marginal. The best food was at the buffet at gabi club. I had issues with the hotel. I had called before hand and was promised a particular service level. When I arrived, that was not the case. Of course, in order to receive the level of promised care, more money was needed. There are many levels of service at this hotel. Just be aware. The concierge staff was useless And did not follow through with any requests

I would totally recommend staying at this hotel, amazing staff, rooms were very clean! Great attention to detail from the cleaning staff!

I travel to this hotel with my husband, my 2 kids ages, 10-months and 11yrs-old and my in laws. I am a native of the Dominican Republic and been to quite a few of this type of All-inclusive hotels. This hotel is beautiful and well maintained, however, the staff is not trained well and don’t seem very happy to work there. You’ll get a drink if you ask for it, you’ll get service if you ask for it, and even if you ask for it it, don’t expect to get good food. We stayed for 6 nights and the menu was exactly the buffet every day we were there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant reservations process is a disaster. I complained every day about not being able to either get a reservation or about not getting a reservation at 11pm, yes, 11pm. Who eats dinner at the time. During our last night we told the hostess we would never return to that hotel and she got us a reservation on the spot to the a la carte restaurants located across the front desk and to our surprise the food was the same food served at the buffet we had been eating all week, just cooked or named differently. Epic fail. The rooms were big and comfortable, however we experienced something very disturbing. One morning we went to the beach and when we returned all of our valuables were missing from the room. Long story short, this hotel’s policy is to confiscate any valuables you have left in your room and you need to call them so they can do an inventory of what they collected. What? Maria, our butler was fantastic! Breakfast and lunches were great. Dinners mediocre at best except Passion which was great. Mole is also good. Avoid The Grill. Beach is gorgeous and not overcrowded. Pools are very pretty. We did not end up at the Reserve part but did the Royal Service for adults only. The rooms weren’t as nice as Reserve but location was A plus. Staff couldn’t be more friendly. Great vacation.

The food is terrible. Everything taste bad including at their restaurants. I would definitely do not recommend this hotel.

This resort is one of the finest in Punta Cana. There was little to complain about. Food is exceptional especially Passion. The room at the reserve was beyond immaculate. The excursions were not tourist traps however quite expensive but some worthwhile especially the ATV with cave diving experience. The spa experience was very good, not top notch but enjoyable. Our concierge, Jose, was MIA half the time and made empty promises will be the only negative thing to say about my experience.

This hotel is very nice and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is right on the beach and close to shopping and nightlife. Will definitely visit again.

This all inclusive resort is wonderful! The staff is uniformly friendly, efficient, and caring, making extra effort without any effort. Rather large, but with well cured spaces, great restaurants, it is very family friendly, definitely worth going to

We stayed on the reserve section which is further away from the beach but more family friendly. The walk to the beach is maybe 5 mins but there are regular shuttles that make the rounds. Most of the staff is friendly. A lot of the hotel guests speak Spanish, so if you don't speak Spanish you may feel a bit out of place at times. Tips are appreciated so make sure to have them in hand. The hotel is very clean and the staff is well trained. Gym was ok, not great. The best part of the hotel was the concierge service (came with the room) and the front lobby of the main building, it is spectacular with bench swings, flamingos, a nice bar and cabanas. The worst part I would say was the food, the non-veg options are good not great and there are very limited options for vegetarians. one of us caught a food bug (we never stepped out of the resort) and had to get on antibiotics. They've done a great job on maintaining the beautiful beach and the staff there was also very friendly. I don't think this is a five star resort, maybe four, but regardless, it's a good property.

My husband and I had a great time at the Reserve at the Paradisus. We felt pampered by the staff that was attentive to our needs. One of the reasons we chose this resort was because it has a sailboat included with the all inclusive and we were able to sail 5 of the 7 days we were there. What a treat for my husband! The restaurants were excellent especially the Grill Steakhouse---one of the best steaks I have ever had. The buffets had excellent food also with a wide variety of choices. I would go here again.

It was our first time in punta and choosing The Reserve at Paradisus was the best decision. We love it. The staff, the pools, the beach, the food and drinks and the enterprise was simply amazing. We had the best time of our lives at this resort. We highly recommend it.

The Hotel is beautiful, good food, premium drinks, the staffs are great, specially by the Royal pool bar, the butler services was good. The only problem that we have it was with transportation since this is a big hotel you need a shuttle to get to different locations and you have to wait long time to take a ride. They need more coordinations or add more shuttles to provide good services.

Great location and beautiful scenery, but we found multiple coakroaches in our room in a allegedly 5 star hotel. When we asked for a solution, they did not offer much more than fumigate our room. After talking to the manager they had us pack in a hurry saying they had another room they can provide to us. We went there and the room was actually occupied already. It was a mess, a lack of consideration with guests. Food was not good within the all inclusive. The reataurant out of the package was phenomenal though. Overall not a 5 star experience, likely 3 star at most.

The beach is 10 minutes walk from my building. Transportation is the Worst. The Staff is Lazy !! No air conditioner is in the buffet. Food is Great! Ocean excellent! Management is the Worst and nobody Cares! 5 star and you can feel how the Managment is economize on You as a client. The Staff doesn't follow directions. Rosemary was the only one who try to help. Great girl but nobody listen.No elevators in the building. Sad! But the place has a Great potential. A lot to improve especially Transport and Restaurant service. I hope the original owner reads my review otherwise he is losing a lot of business! I would like to come back when the Service improves!!!

We enjoyed the pool at the Reserve. It was very relaxing and comfortable. It would have been nice if they would have had a rule about not eating ice cream IN the pool! Staff was very friendly, but there was a definite problem with communicating your needs to the staff. Food was good and always a varied choice.

The resort is very big with well landscaped ground and quiet accommodations. Beach is amazing clean with comfy beds.You can walk for hrs from one end to the other. Lots of activities for kids and families with great nightly shows fitting kids and adults. Pool activities from paddle board yoga to biking in the pool, crafty activities for all ages. Great buffets with lots of fresh fruit and veggies as well as choices for meat lovers. Master suite we stayed in very clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the pool area,twice a day cleaning services.hair dryer.ironing board,comfy slippers,umbrella.fridge full of drinks,milk and snacks. There are 4 levels to this resort we were at reserve at paradises Punta Cana higher then us for adults only was royal treatment.Next time we go we pick concierge service as they guide you through activities if you are with kids also have first choice for restaurants which we did not care for as preferred choices at the buffets. In the evening everybody dresses up for dinner and activities there is a daycare for any ages very nice. The 8 min walk to the beach is a great exercise unless you prefer the golf cart ride. They have a well equipped gym and spa. Even though it said we will have rain the whole week it only rained at night and we had few cloudy days. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend this resort to anyone . We used to go to lifestyle holiday resort at Puerto plata as we have timeshare there but this is 100% better.

We love this resort and had a great vacay. Walls a little thin but rooms very nice and clean. Food is good

According to the laws in the Dominican Republic, every worker, in this type of company, has 6 days off every month. Each person has the right to choose how and when to use these days off. For example, they can decide to have one and a half day off every week, or to have three days off every two weeks and so on. Please, rest assured, we take great care of our employees.
