The problem was the housekeeping and the room. We paid to upgrade our room to a swim up suite but could never use it because the room next to us had at least 15 people in it. Tried to tell the staff but no one ever answered (the entire time there) the front desk phone.

Room was nice and clean daily modern with balcony, staff very friendly and attentive and they do their best to be available to make your stay very pleasent. All the pools nice and clean and loads of choice for entertainment and food and drinks, beech was kept tidy daily it felt safe and relaxing, I highly recommend.

A couple of the staff members were absolutely amazing. They greeted us daily and ask how our day was going. Our room was very nice. 4403, ocean view. Loved having 2 bathrooms. The deck was huge and we spent 2 days out there. Very relaxing. However the gutters on the deck need to be cleaned. There were cigarette butts and garbage in the gutter. 6 of the 9 nights we had to ask the staff to bring towels, or face cloths and once left the room with no toilet paper. The resort supplied shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash and once again we had to ask them re refill. One time I left the top off the body wash and shampoo and instead of refilling they put the top back on and didn’t refill. The nightly activities were pretty good. The large screen in the theatre needs to be replaced. A portion of the screen does not work. The beach was very nice. White sand but a lot of seaweed. During our stay the buoy that designated the swimming area broke and let an an extreme amount of seaweed. The beach was covered. The resort has a tractor and 10 people out trying to keep up. They did a great job!! Last were the people offering time shares they were on us daily to sit through the sales pitch. We politely declined every time, but they continued to ask. One of the big disappointments was everything in USD. We tried to stay away from a destination that demanded USD. With the Canadian currency so bad it made things like the spa just not worth it. 80 min massage was $200 USD.

While out a staff member came into our swim up room, took a Coors light beer out of the mini fridge and left the empty can in the room. The bed was “made up” with dirty stained sheets… When pictures were provided to substantiate these events the hotel “did nothing” and intact we could not rest lay down/ rest in our room because it took literally 3 hours for someone to come and provide clean linens. Also while changing out of my swim suit, I hear voices on our private patio— I looked it was a staff member removing our patio furniture because another room needed the chairs… Absolutely crazy set of events, and the hotel offered no compensation and even with pictures ( we still have them— dirty stained sheets and empty beer can ) absolutely nothing was done!! I simple can not recommend this place in good conscience.
