I actually score it a 4.5 overall. Its strengths are the beautiful grounds and outstanding suites. Of all the restaurants, Lemon Fish stands out. Its Chef Zender prepares real Peruvian food. The various ceviches are delicious and true to the Peruvian flavor (not watered down as found in other restaurants). The Circle’s weakness is its uneven service. Some servers are excellent while others are very slow to provide service. Not all rooms are cleaned to the level expected in such a luxurious resort. We plan to continue visiting and hope service becomes up to par with the fabulous resort.
Carolina Perez our concierge we love her she is awesome truly a lovely person has gone far and beyond for us and our kids as my daughter had an unfortunate febril seizure scaring us to death the lifeguard on duty is an amazing man too everyone here always double assuring us making sure we’re as they say “disfrutando” living life enjoying your vacation oh let me say also Chef Eduardo at the restaurant here called “Lemonfish” prepared a spread of ceviches of octopus ,shrimp ,tuna ,grouper , prepared with some extravagant fragrant ingredients I told him he belongs in Las Vegas Y.U.M Amazing Chef !!!! Only thing missing here is a gelato place and a coffee shop I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent place to spend a week relax and good food. People very pleasant and the place is a 10 star awesome. Night entertainment and daily activities are a plus to make the most pleasant vacation and great memories to enjoy for ever
The room was awesome and comfortable. The food was very delicious and the pool was relaxing. The beach and the activities were also really fun as well. Geraldo RamÃrez was the person who stood out the most when it came to making the stay here way more enjoyable. He is a fun, hard worker, and he brings lots of entertainment.
Great entertainment, amazing service and great people! Room was very clean and comfortable. The beach and pool were everything I expected and more. Geraldo Ramirez was a great help and a really great guy and made me really enjoy my stay to the fullest extent!
Don’t miss Cheila’s cocktails! They are a must!! Forget about the menu, just tell her what you like and she will come up with something new, special and absolutely delicious! I specially loved the Fresh Fruits Tequila cocktail and the Martini Rosato. But if you are looking for something sweet to finish your night ask for the Lime Pie or the Dominican Martini! 🍸 Great chat too! 😊
My family and I, a group of 18, ranging from 4-78 years old, stayed at the circle. We checked in and were immediately greeted by Sulenny Gil. She helped us through out our whole stay with restaurant reservations, and anything we needed was made possible. Sulenny always replied immediately to texts and always accommodated our needs. Please consider this hotel for your next vacation, you wonât regret it ! As we arrived to the hotel we were immediately greeted by the staff, we were offered moist towelettes as they got our luggageâs off our vehicles. As we entered the lounge we were offered drinks and the lounge was absolutely gorgeous, as well as the hotel of course!! When we entered our room we saw everything was stocked up with snacks and drinks and such and had many complimentary items such as slippers, robes, etc. On the TVs they had many different channels available as well as menus for room service on there as well. Every restaurant there was outstanding, our kids especially loved ârubi rocksâ because of their milkshakes and foosball tables but all of the restaurants were amazing in their own ways. I would also like to give thanks to all of our other friends here at the circle, who always greeted us at restaurants and at the kids club and pool with a big smile. A big shoutout to; Jose Bautista, Natasha Vásquez, Margarito Matos, Armando De Leon, Iselso Tapia, Dioscar Morillo, Manuel, Abraham,Sergio, Happy Happy and Dennis. Thank all of you guys for your hard work, this is one of the best vacations we have had. Itâs not a good bye, sino un asta Pronto. Regards, Los mexicanos de Mexico.
The Good: The property, the restaurants and the rooms are beautiful. The food is pretty good and fresh, and they use quality alcohol and ingredients. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Nice gym facility. The Bad: The concierge system (but specifically Marggie). The relentless pressure to tip every person for every single service. (sorry, but for the price you pay at this all inclusive, I was not prepared to spend an additional $20+ per day just to get drinks and eat food). Not great for vegetarians. Minor issues possibly due to language barriers. Pool closes early, not much nightlife. Overall our stay was mostly enjoyable; however, if I had to decide whether or not to return I would definitely spend my money elsewhere. Continue reading for specific situations... Upon checking in we did not receive a welcome drink, and our concierge was not available to walk us to our room so someone else escorted us to the wrong room where we waited outside for 5-10 minutes while they tried to figure out why the key didn’t work. Our concierge Marggie was unreliable and unhelpful. For example, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I told her we’d like to dine at a Mediterranean or Italian Restaurant. I also told her we already had reservations at most of the restaurants at the Grand Reserve, so we were interested in going to one of the other properties to try a different restaurant. Her decision was to make a reservation at the Japanese restaurant. I went to the lobby to see if I could make a reservation myself and request a different concierge. They did change my reservation but we were unfortunately stuck with Marggie. The next day she asked if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. I said “I don’t know, is there?” And she said how about a massage tomorrow? And guess what? We never got that massage. And I really just tried to avoid her for the remainder of our stay. Later in the week we were joined by about 12 other people to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Marggie told me she planned to decorate the restaurant for the night we planned to all dress up. Unfortunately this was another unfulfilled promise. And while we obviously still enjoyed our night, it’s just another example of her empty promises. Refrigerator/Snacks/Nespresso Pods in the room: restocking happened sporadically and I had to ask my concierge to have these things restocked repeatedly. The main pool/pool bar closes at 6:00pm, which seemed kind of early to us. Also the nightlife at The Grand Reserve is very chill and pretty much ends at 11:00pm. If you’re looking for a more lively vacation, this is not the spot. Food/Restaurants Rubi Rocks Menu has a Chicken Sandwich with Brie, Arugula and Fig Compote Sandwich comes out with Shredded Cheddar, and romaine. At the Water Park Bar the Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Wrap came out with tomato, shredded cheddar and romaine. Asked for Vegetarian options and two nights in a row got a small salad, and one night it didn’t even have salad dressing. The breakfast buffet was my favorite meal consistently the whole trip. The fruit was amazing and there were so many options. However, it often took a long time to get coffee/service.
Everything at this resort was top notch - the room, food, drinks, amenities, staff were all excellent. Great customer service from the friendly and respectful staff Chelia & Lorenzo - bartenders Francisco & George- waiters Marggie Jimenez - concierge This was our second trip to Paridisius, and first at the Grand Reserve. My family and I very much enjoyed the trip
The Grand Reserve was truly paradise. I have stayed in many high end hotels and this one did not disappoint. VERY clean hotel. The food was surprisingly good- the breakfast buffet is fantastic. The water park is great for children under 10. The beach is a bit disappointing, but the swimming pools are lovely. We had a swim-up suite and it did not disappoint. Otium shuttled us to the airport and were very prompt. I would, however, recommend SeaPro Divers for a diving and snorkeling excursion- highlight of our vacation. Nice a/c buses, picked up in lobby. The beaches and water over by La Romana and Sanoa Island are some of the best in the world.
