First time here. We typically stay at Riu properties. This place is stunningly huge and well maintained. The staff service was excellent. There was a wide variety of food. Service was prompt and staff was attentive. Check in/out was easy. My recommendations to management are: 1. Have a wider variety of music at the swim up bars. 2. There were some missing tiles in the Saona pool. 3. The television reception was sketchy at times. You should slso provide a channel guide. The room was clean and housekeeping was excellent!!!

Staff everywhere was so attentive, even the bars. Normally you have to fight for attention at bars and here there were always 2 or even 3 times you were asked if you had been helped. Pool bathroom were always clean. There was a good mix of people of all ages, lots of entertainment but no room service or food options late at night. The after hours snacks were convenience store/gas station equivalent just sitting in racks for hours.

The room could use some new furniture and it was super cold. The sports bar food is bad - hot dogs , hamburgers and nachos and some idk maybe old fruit but other than that i would highly recommend staying here 100%. The staff was friendly except a few bartenders. I definitely enjoyed the breakfast lunch and dinner food also. The gym was better than expected. Even though there were lots of guests it never felt crowded ever

This was the worst all-inclusive resort we have ever stayed at!. When we arrived to our first room, it was very unsightly and rundown. I did not get concerned until I noticed that I could not lock the sliding glass door. We found mold everywhere in the room ceilings, bathrooms, walls, and most disgustingly our mattress. It was an inconvenience when we alerted the reception staff. She handed us another set of keys and stated “ here go check this room, make sure it’s acceptable“. While checking out the second room, we opened the door and there stood another tourist. She stated she had just checked in. This was not only embarrassing, but concerning about the security of the entire resort. We did get “an upgrade for our inconvenience“. This room was actually nice. The entire check-in process took over three hours and we unfortunately missed the Riu party. The food was absolutely horrific. I ended up getting food poisoning from the main buffet, which I believe was from the hard boiled eggs. For an all-inclusive, trying to get a cocktail of our choice was another adventure. It was like being on a scavenger hunt to find the bar that had our cocktails of choice. If you state you’re an all-inclusive resort, act like one. Don’t waste your time. The only Riu we would ever consider staying at again is a palace. Expedia flew us into Santo Domingo, which was over 2 hour drive from Punta Cana. Be aware of this when booking as we did not catch it as we were not familiar to the area.

Las habitaciones sin regulares, sin colgadores para ropa, duchas españolas y sólo un conector para corriente. El personal es muy variado, pueden ser muy amables o nada corteses. Todos los restaurantes son buffet sin ningun plato especialmente rico. La playa tenia muchas camillas rotas sin mantenimiento. El licor estuvo decente y la fiesta es lo unico rescatable del hotel.

There is no view of the ocean from any rooms or even the pools. There needs to be more security personnel. The rooms were fine. Everything is just really spread out. Food was just OK.

Disliked: Cleanliness

The room smelled like mildew and the outlets were not working. The water pressure was weak. They switched us rooms and the room smelled better. However, the outlet between the beds, did not work. The television didn’t work. They sent maintenance and unfortunately they came to our door at 1:30am to fix it. (Yes,AM not PM!) They also switched out our television. Some staff members were not very friendly or helpful. I will not be back to this resort.
