No variety in beers and horrible wine in the buffet. The wifi doesn’t work well.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. As a frequent traveler, I’ve gotten used to a certain level of quality and service anywhere that I have visited, but Punta Cana was not close to my minimum standards. The hotel was dirty, bathroom had mold, A/C did not work (it felt like we were inside a sauna), food choices were limited and staff was rude and unhelpful. The open bar wasn’t so opened as the pool bar closed at 5, and the pool needed to be “vacated by 6 pm”. The day time entertainment at the pool was not the best, and they only played Dominican music, all day long. My family and I did not feel welcomed, nor appreciated and didn’t feel Safe during our stay.

Love the staff . Very nice and friendly. Always have a smile on their faces . Willing to help out . I didn’t like the bathroom because it was smelly . High urine scent . But otherwise I like it overall.

Overall very pleased with my stay in this location. I traveled with my family, every day we had something new to do, we were engaged at all times. The events for the kids were great, our kids loved every single one. The area was very cleaned and well taken care of, and the staff was very helpful. Our room was clean and with the exception of the occasional mosquito, pest free. Our stay was very enjoyable, we would do it again.

Did not realize the hotel had separate sections, we were at Aquamarine, so was disappointed that restaurants at beach were off limits. If I were to go again, I would book at the more exclusive hotels on the property. Room was great, we did avoid the mini bar due to all the reported deaths in the news though 😃. This hotel was too far from the beach, but once again, I did not realize there are separate hotels on the property. I eat out a lot and love good food, my daughter and I decided to do the buffet for the 4 days we were there. Do tip the staff or you will not get service, but that is ok. The buffet had great food for the most part and they switch it up so there is a lot of variety. The food was always replenished. For the price, it was well worth it. I originally booked at Bavaro and they switched us to Aquamarine when we checked in, it is for adults, so we are grateful for that and did not have to deal with screaming kids. The pool gets rowdy as the people get drunk, no doubt they all pee in the pool as they stay in there drinking all day, so I hope the water was highly chlorinated. All in all, we had a great stay. The entertainment staff were charming and gave the ladies an expert spin around the dancefloor at night. Take a lot of $1 for tipping and you wont be dissapointed. We had a great trip and 4 days was a perfect amount of time.

The people here are awful. So rude and completely unhelpful. Worst trip of my life.

The security persons in the entrance didn’t give us the access to the hotel, I have to walk to explain the situation at front desk and this guys call the police Good hotel, really bad administration.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They work so hard it’s inspiring. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the beach had loads of plants floating but I understand they can’t do anything about that.

Cleanness, excellent transportation from room to places, great staff. Room needs to be upgraded.

Like the ability to upgrade. Loved that they took care of the seaweed in the morning and all throughout the day! Can not say enough nice things about the staff! Loved this place, we will be back soon.

property is beautiful.. what i did not like is the buffet food was always cold and i was promised all ala carte with not limitations and that was not the case. also the smoking section in the lobby never had ashtrays out. u always had to beg for an ashtray and wait and wait and be lucky to get one. also the lobby service day and night was not good. they did not have enough staff to accomadate the guests. the beach service as well. not 1 time did someone come to me on beach and asked if i wanted a drink

This place is huge. Good food. Bring sun block!! Nice pools. Lots of kids. If you have little tolerance for kids, book the ambar blue next door. It’s adults only. Beach is amazing. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Had to make multiple calls and two visits to the front desk to get our room cleaned at 9:30pm. He admitted there were numerous rooms having this problem due to not having enough staff. Shame on the management!!! Clean rooms is a basic requirement when you put out this amount of money for a vacation. I also witnessed another women having a melt down because her room wasn’t clean at 9pm. That is inexcusable in my opinion.

From the first day there were issues. I was given a room not at all what I was told I was paying for. Old and with water on the floor. Smelled of mildew. Had to switch for an upgraded part of resort.. more money. Then isuues not getting food orders even after 3 reminder calls. No bell boy for check out even after calling numerous times concierge. We decided to do it our selves. Too many disappointments to mention. However, premises were beautiful and beach nice.

Overall very pleased with my stay in this location. I traveled with my family, every day we had something new to do, we were engaged at all times.
