There were many positives to this property. The house is huge, and there was more than enough room for 8 people. The view is amazing. The pool itself was nice also.There were also some shortcomings- the kitchen was a big one. It is basically outside, and had a smell to it. The tile floors throughout the house could have been cleaner- they left everyone’s feet black. The laundry is also outside, and did not work properly. In general, It was clear the house was once a beautiful property but it now needs some love. We had some issues with the pool operation and with the hot water. It’s probably also worth noting that there are 135 steps from the street up to the door. It was also odd that the only entrance was really through the master bedroom. Also- pro tip: keep the covers on the drains. You’ll thank me later. The owner did have a handyman named Manny who took good care of us, and was very responsive when we needed something fixed. I cannot emphasize enough that Manny is AWESOME. Whatever you’re paying Manny, double it!
