Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

The room was exactly as described online, except for the tiny little ants everywhere. Also, as a result of the air conditioning, the beds and sheets felt clammy all the time. I didn't feel it was clean. They did come and clean it everyday. The kiddie pool area is exactly as described just a bit older. The front reception staff were professional and prompt and Giovanni went out of his way to accommodate our reservation for one of the restaurants. They do upsell you at the Italian restaurant, but go ahead and order the lobster: it's the only good thing on the menu. I gave this a 3 because it was relatively inexpensive through Orbitz, but I will not be visiting this hotel again. Too many drawbacks. Something they should do is allow guests to put in their specialty restaurant reservations before arrival. The way it is set up, you can't get in there except for once or twice for dinner the whole time. And the food in the cafeteria is so bland that it's a huge disappointment. The people are mostly nice and eager to please, but then again, the workers are this way everywhere in P.V.

No good I have to switch room at midnight because A/C was working and then on the second room sink facaut is not working so I don't enjoy vacaciones

There are rocks in the surf which are uncomfortable but just a few feet past them it is smooth and very pleasant. This hotel has a large number of Palapas on the beach providing great shade. The breeze off the ocean feels fantastic here. The rooms are simple but very adequate and well maintained. The staff is wonderful and extremely friendly, they really make you feel catered to here. The nightly shows are actually entertaining and worth the walk across the street to Club Nitro to check them out. For the most part the meals here are what you can expect, maybe a couple of decent things to eat in the main buffet while most things are not so great. The restaurants provide a higher quality of food for dinner and are worth a try.

I loved this place. All staff were gracious and helpful. The food was awesome, the entertainment for the kids was great, and of course the pools and beach were amazing. We most definitely will come back.

first day was awful, lobby was very hot, our room was not ready at 3pm like they said it would be, the room was very old dated, the door to the balcony did not latched at all and the air conditioning in the room did not cooled well either. My family and I had stayed in Crown Paradise Club Cancun in the past and we had a very great time there, the hotel was very beautiful and had a lot more to offer. Vacation in Puerto Vallarta was great the hotel was not.

We travel to Crown Paradise Club yearly and now we meet up with other family that we have met through the years, the place is great and the people even better.

We went with 14. 9 kids 5 adults. The entertainment staff was the best. Nora, Diego, Jimi, and Jesse made our trip! They enjoyed our kids and made us feel right at home. The entire staff was great, friendly and accomidating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Down side was the rooms don't have a bathtub and the beds are doubles not queens so, that was a little smaller than I'd like. The food was not good at all, we had to get creative when trying to eat. The biggest issue was that the food wasn't hot or seasoned. We tried all three restaurants (French, Itallian, and Japanese). The Itallian was good and so was the French. The French makes a really cool Spanish coffee. The Japanese was ok and that's about it. You are close, like one block from a super market so that was cool. It was a good 5-7 miles to downtown so you can't really walk. There is also a flea market next door so that was good too. The beach vendors weren't bad either. We also went to all of the shows and it was fun.

This all inclusive hotel has a great location, a great beach, good food, a $8.50 an hour Internet charge, That can be $18.00 a day.

We have been to Crown Paradise about 8 times now. Usually we go in the two weeks before/including Thanksgiving. Staff are very helpful. The food is great at the French and Italian restaurants, and the Buffet (Palapa) is very convenient and also pretty good. Plenty of beach space and just with your No's and look disinterested if you want to be on the beach and avoid the vendors. Take the same approach with the vacation club/timeshare people, which don't bother you much. There are plenty of chairs around the pools and on the beach. The renovation of the rooms was nice and it was being completed in November 2014--and the air conditioning works much better. Our kids have enjoyed the baby club and kids club staff and we trust them. They seems to treat their staff pretty well, and their staff turnover has been very low in the 8 years we have been going. Don't expect jumbo shrimp, lobsters, and turn-down service, but this is a great value overall.

Sand on the sheets, not really clean. Ants on the walls, small bugs on the floor. Not good food. The beds are so hard that I could not sleep at all. I don't recommend this hotel to any body.

Great for families with kids. Fun waterpark. My kids love the waterpark, pools and the beach. Specialty mixed non alcohol drinks for the kids. And of course mixed drinks for grownups are really good. Beer is ok. The entertainment by the pool was just o'k. They could improve. Go the the beach tobrent seadoos. Horses and rode the banana , got a massage at the beach.Great a la carte theme restaurants on premises ,. And my kids got the fake tattoos, bought a pair of glasses by the beach. And sandals. Hats. Shirts. Shorts. Beach dress for the wife, you could buy any kind of souvenirs at the beach. dinner at downtown twice. Got to eat real mexican tacos.recommend. guacamole with everything. Listen to an authentic mariachi band. We had a great time. Be back next year.

We visited this resort 2 times because the kid amenities were so good. They have activities for 6week old babies through teenagers. They have a great kids pool with tons of slides. The rooms were fine beds a bit uncomfortable but fine. Staff are very sweet. The unfortunate bit is the food is very mediocre even in their formal restaurants-(which are only for dinner.) I would happily pay more for this resort if the food offerings and drink offerings were better.

Great, family orientated, Mexican influenced, beach front resort. The only area that didn't get a "Great" was the registration desk. The male staff seemed "tired/frustrated" whenever they dealt with Guests. The rest of the staff, from bellmen to housekeepers, gardeners, wait and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a spectacular ocean front view, king bed and jacuzzi. Very clean rooms and public areas. If you can't find something to eat on the Buffet you might want to consider staying in a condo with cooking facilities. Huge variety at each meal. The three a la carte restaurants had very tasty food and wonderful service. There's a beach snack bar for afternoon munchies and a Midway cafe for late afternoon, evening wraps/salads. Adult only hot tub area was a refreshing change from the other family friendly pools. The beach is clean, very sandy (no rocks) and the waves, at times, were great for boogie boarding. Venders were not obnoxious or intrusive. There were plenty of activities for those who chose to participate. As with all resorts, guests "reserved" their lounge chairs early, even if they weren't going to use. This isn't the resort's fault. Do some research-you won't be disappointed. Expect different customs and foods, you are visiting another country.

Custumer service was okay we had to wait 2 hours to get our room.

Wonderful friendly atmosphere. The food and drinks were very good. The staff went the extra mile to please us. Lots of fun activities at the resort. We did the city tour which was a long day and we ran a bit late, but was interesting and we saw some beautiful places. It is located very close to the airport which was also very nice. The only negative comment I can make is checking out. Long lines because it was a Sunday and many people were leaving and also checking in at the same time.

Lets start with the cons: As soon as we checked in a woman working there asked us to come back down as soon as we got settled into our room so she could go over the amenities. We did so thinking she would go over all we needed to know as far as restaurant locations on property, water equipment and so on. It was just an attempt to get us a discounted massage in return for sitting through a 90 minute sales pitch. We declined and went on down to the beach. Literally every 7 to 10 minutes someone would walk up to our beach chairs bothering us to buy jewelry, sunglasses, dresses, temporary tattoos or wanting to braid our hair. This continued all day all 6 days we were there. Very annoying. We also had to continually go to the desk to ask about the hours of operation for the various bars or snack sites, ask about yoga classes, ect. There should have been a true orientation to inform us of these things along with all the other amenities offered. Our kids really wanted to use the zip line but it wasn't ever open when we went to the pool. We finally found someone who could tell us when it was open. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 2:00. We arrived Monday morning but didn't know about it in time. Wednesday we had an excursion scheduled and we left before noon on Saturday. Very disappointed kids. Now the pros: Very friendly buffet and bar staff. There was always something we liked being served at the buffet. Super clean rooms. Wonderful beach and awesome kids pool. Adult pool with super large hot tub with swim up bar. Beautiful grounds. Literally right next door to the marina if you have some sort of boat excursion scheduled. 5 minute walk tops. Also a flea market at the marina.

Just got back from our vacation there and originally we had booked 2 rooms being we are a family of 8 and after they saw us together they upgraded our room to 1 Penthouse at no additional cost. The Penthouse fits us all comfortably, it was outdated but we didn't spend much time in the room. Location was great, next to flea market, close to mall, and restaurants. Great waterpark for kids and the guy working there was amazing. The kids club were fun, my kids decided to take part in some activities they held like singing, joke telling, swim exercises, etc. I would have to say I was disappointed that they didn't have snorkeling, and upon arriving a lady was bugging us to do a time share type thing that involved a 90 minute class and being we are a fam of 8 youngest is 1 we didn't have time for it, nor were interested and yet she managed to seek us out daily and bothering us. Yes you get discounts like 2 for the price of 1 massage but we were there on a family vacation and to relax. The beach was also very big compared to Barcelo where we have stayed previously. The buffet was good overall but needs more of a variety, same as snack bar.

If you don't have children, stay away. Club is ONLY! for families with children. My husband and I wanted to relax on our vacation, kids running around, screaming, no place to hide. Food was no good, and we're not picky eaters. Same food for days, what they didn't finish for dinner you had it for breakfast. Our first time in Puerto Vallarta and the way we feel it can be the last. They upgraded our room to honeymoon suite after we refused to stay in they apartment, ocean view was nice, but still not for adults, please check this resort before you go there without children, don't think we don't like kids, we have three of our own and three grandchildren and we love them dearly. Some kids have no control. Drinks are not drinkable, food not eatable, beach is very dirty, nobody cleans it or the beach chairs, staff never smiles. Very sad place for vacationing.

The staff for the most part were friendly, especially at the bars and restaurants. Front desk staff was not the most helpful or friendly. Need to improve the process for making reservations to eat in the on-site restaurants. The public restrooms need updating and better air flow. We did not have children with, but this is a perfect place for families with young children. Nice and close to the airport and Vallarta Marina. Some of the chairs around the pool area are in need of replacement. Free WiFi service should be available. Main buffet area needs to be better labeled for smoother flow.

We had a pleasent stay. Everypne was very nice and gave a great service.
