The Dolphin's Penthouse is an absolute gem, perfectly positioned at the heart of everything that makes Puerto Vallarta a world-class destination. This was the best rental we have encountered in years of travel.From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated. The magnificent wrap-around balcony offers postcard-perfect, panoramic scenes—a truly world-class spot to relax. Inside, the penthouse features outstanding architecture and wonderful, comfortable furnishings. The beds were spotless and comfortable. Critically, everything functioned perfectly, from the high-speed internet and AC to the washing machine and coffeemaker.The building is exceptionally well-maintained. Guests access the penthouse via a modern and efficient elevator. It is staffed 24/7 by friendly and attentive staff, including a doorman securing the locked entrance.The penthouse shares the rooftop with a well-maintained pool (long enough for laps) and a modest gym on the second floor.This location truly excels. Step outside, and you are immediately on The Malecón, Puerto Vallarta’s lively esplanade. This iconic boardwalk runs along the beach and is full of sculptures, vibrant performers, vendors, fantastic restaurants, and shops.For daily convenience, there is an OXXO (Mexican 7/11) on the street level of the building, along with a great restaurant that offers delivery service.We highly recommend The Dolphin's Penthouse for an unforgettable Puerto Vallarta experience.

A perfect place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. So comfortable and the best view in town. Every night we were dazzled by watching the sun set from the balcony. The apartment is well-appointed and the host was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

We highly recommend this condo!

Thank you Michel! We have loved our stay at your condo, we're sad to have to leave already. Your place is in a perfect spot and is such a beautiful home and stocked with everything we need. And the security and staff are all so friendly. We people watched, went boating, went fishing, had beach days, had pool days, rode razors in the jungle, got massages, we shopped, we ate amazing food, and we drank! You can do it all from this location. We would love to come back in the future.

Great location and views

Prefect location in the middle of everything with one of the best (180deg) views of the bay you can get in Vallarta. Spacious penthouse, great for two couples or a family (we were 4 adults and a kid). All necessary amenities, nice layout of the condo with two private suites and the gorgeous wraparound roof terrace.

Best Location in Puerto Vallarta RIGHT on the Malecon and Beach

The pictures on this listing look MUCH better in person! We loved staying here for a week in April 2025. Whether you relax on the wrap around deck, lounge pool side at the roof top pool, once you step outside you are in the CENTER of everything PV has to offer. We had a fantastic vacation here ! I highly recommend for an authentic, comfortable, well decorated, and gorgeous condo.

Centrally located, so many great places to walk to, LOTS of whale and dolphin activity, cruise ships arriving and departing, great people-watching on the Malecon, terrific restaurant in the building, minutes from Zona Romantica. There's a reason we keep coming back.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay in PV, and at your Dolphins penthouse condo. Your condo made it special. Its location is great, plus we loved watching activity on the Malecon—from setup of the booths in the morning through to tear down in the evening. We never did see the turtle but did have a really good whale sighting one morning. Also, in an earlier email you had mentioned the convenience of the third bathroom, and we agree.Special in Every Way

Classic Mexican

This condo is very classically Mexican style with tile floors, beautiful wooden cabinetry, and some wonderful art pieces. We were 2 couples and this condo worked perfectly. One of the nicest features is the huge wrap around balcony that has lots of seating. The kitchen is well supplied and the beds are comfortable. It couldn’t be in a better location. It’s a convenient walk to most everything and it’s quiet at night…..except for the sound of the ocean which is fabulous! Sassia is a terrific help and readily available. The only reason we gave this 4 stars overall is because there are a few minor items that should be updated. But those did not prevent us from having a great 2 weeks in PV.

Middle of the Action

We love the Penthouse of the Dolphins! We had a great time getting to know the vendors on the Malecon, eating at all the great restaurants, grabbing an Uber to the Zoo and Puente Jorullo, walking to Sapphire beach club and coming home to the amazing views and comfortable amenities! Sassia was amazing and the building staff were great. We'll be back.

Wonderful hosts and great location

My daughter and I picked this place to celebrate her birthday. The condo is exactly as it shows in the pics and the location is great with absolutely breathtaking views. You're only a short walk from restaurants, bars, and shopping.The rooftop pool was only steps away from the penthouse we enjoyed every afternoon. We would definitely want to come again!

Great Location!

Located on the Malecon the property is very close to Rio Cuale bridge. Left is the river, right is the Los Arcos outdoor amphitheater. Easy walking to restaurants. Nighttime activities onthe Malecon was fun to experience. The rental was 2 br. 3 bath. With plenty of charm and lots of space. Kitchen was perfect to us. Outside wrap around balcony was our favorite spot for sunsets. Beds comfortable. Plenty of linens. 3 of us aged 69, 75, 80- loved the rooftop pool outside our 4th floor apartment Recommend it.

This is our 4th or 5th stay at the condo and it is always excellant. Michel and Sassia have verything ready for you. Well equiped, even with starter coffee and a couple of sodas. An EXCEPTIONAL Condo In an EXCEPTIONAL Location

My husband and I spent eight fabulous nights in this incredible condo. The host, Michel Rubini, went out of his way to ensure that we had an absolutely amazing memorable vacation. He was always quick to respond to any of our emails, which we truly appreciated. The condo itself, was just as pictured - beautiful and spotless! We were told that the condo is cleaned thoroughly after guests leave as well as completely sanitized. The rooms were all spacious in size and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with essentials such as coffee, spices, liquid dish detergent, dishwashing pods, paper towels, extra garbage bags, even Cokes in the refrigerator! I also appreciated that on each nightstand in the bedrooms there were power strips for charging all of our electronics, TONS of hangars in the closets, and plenty of books for reading. Having a washer/dryer unit in the second bathroom was wonderful. The condo’s location is perfect. Tons of delicious restaurants within an easy walk, not to mention all the vendors on the Malecón selling their yummy food and Mexican wares. But…the ABSOLUTE BEST part of the condo was the PHENOMENAL wraparound balcony with the expansive views of the Malecon, Bay of Banderas and beyond! We so enjoyed having our coffee there each morning while watching Puerta Vallarta wake up. And the sunsets in the evening were just as incredible. If there was one downfall to this beautiful condo, it was that we had to leave! Until next time!

8th year for us there? 9th?

Can't beat it. From the condo we walk to all our favorite and great restaurants: La Palapa, Barcelonas Tapas, Trio, and Vitea, which is right downstairs. The sunsets are stunning. Every year I say I'm not going to take any more sunset pictures, and yet when I counted at the end of our stay, I'd taken 38. The people-watching is great, and if you go to the Saturday farmer's market, make sure you stand in the longest line there and buy baked goods. (We bring a loaf of whole wheat home with us.) When we drive back to the airport and look at the condos and high-rise hotels along the route, we can't imagine being that far from the action. If you want a taste of Mexico and not a hermetically sealed resort, stay here. Love the new rocking chairs on the patio, BTW!

We will be back!!!

-We spent our anniversary, which is also NYE, at the condo. Our trip was about 10 days, and the experience was amazing. We had family that has spent time in Puerto Vallarta and when we told them we were planning a trip and looking at this condo they were very negative about the location due to concerns over noise. I’m a very light sleeper, and I was prepared with ear plugs, which I only used twice during the stay (and probably only needed once). -New Year’s Eve at this property was spectacular!!! We ate dinner out and walked back to the condo via El Malecon and enjoyed the crowds, music, shows, and food vendors. We made it to the rooftop pool area a little before midnight and at 11:55pm the fireworks started and lasted for 15 minutes! It was the best firework display I’ve ever seen and included the pirate ship in the bay. What a great time! -We loved the location of the condo. We would walk El Malecon multiple times a day and it’s an amazing starting point for daily adventures around town. We walked almost 20,000 steps every day! The veranda is to die for. We spent mornings enjoying coffee and evenings enjoying the sunset with wine and cheese. We enjoyed multiple whale and dolphin sightings and the use of the binoculars. -The landlord and his family were very nice and quick to accommodate us when we felt like we needed to delay leaving a day due to inclement weather in our flight path. -The building is secure, and the guards were quick to become friends!

Lovely PV Condo

Excellent unit in an older but well maintained and secure condo. The photos are accurate; great views and right on the Malecon. Unit is large; and nice to have 3 bathrooms!. Safe building; friendly guards and nice to have gated entrance. Really responsive property manager and owner. 100% recommend!

Pure Joy

We have been coming to PV for 28 years and have stayed in all kinds of properties. If you like the hustle and busyness of the Malecon and love the dining choices of the Romantic Zone, then this is the perfect spot. The property is exactly as described and the balcony is the largest we’ve ever had. Safe, secure, and comfortable are the three words that stand out most in my mind. Just pure joy.

Exactly as advertised

Million dollar views and the unit is very clean and equipped with everything needed, down to a pair of binoculars for dolphin/whale viewing. Well furnished with high end touches thru out, plus the Property Manager and gate guards were wonderful!! Highly recommend this unit, it was fun to people watch from the balcony and watch the sunsets and moonrise. We will be back again soon. Thank you for taking care of us.

Wonderful beautiful condo right on the ocean

We had a lovely stay. There were a few weather challenges. This hurricane Lydia had come through the day before we arrived. The host had people on site to make sure everything was running well. And checked in on us to make sure we are OK. The condo itself was beautiful and the website description is accurate.
