Staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the foul smell in the room. It smelled like wet rug and mold. I had to get out because it triggered an asthma attack. The bedspreads are old and mended with other old bedspreads, the air conditioner was extremely loud and it didn't cool the room. Run away do NOT stay here.

The place needs improvement regarding to facilities. The curtains in the room were not in good shape, the bed needed another matress for example. No breakfast; just coffee and bread. On the other hand, the view is amazing.

Friendly reception. Walked us to the room. The room in general is OK. It is a parador and not a 5 star hotel. The view is espectacular. The parking is really small. The rest was empty and that should be a sign when you have no rest around. The food was salty. No wifi in the room. Next morning breakfast was awful. 30 minutes for cofee, juice and toast bread. The butter was over and they gave us jelly without asking. No eggs at 10 am on a Tuesday morning. I dont want to be in a weekend. The toilet of the room is leaking and thw light is not working properly. The pool is huge. The offer was excellent but I dont think that we return.

The 1st room they gave us you could smell a foul odor, the bathroom was not the cleanest. i laid my baby on one of the bed and when i went to pick her up i noticed a very foul odor on her clothes the covers smelled so bad. They changed our room (next door). The water leaks out when you shower....huge puddle on bathroom floor, every time you flush the toilet it would make a crazy noise even when people from other room above us will flush. It woke my baby up 2 times in the middle of the night when the people above us will flush their toilet. My babys bag was covered in and out with ANTS. I could go on and on about this place and it VERY sad because this place has an amazing view of the ocean and great pool area. It needs new management and a whole lot of changes and improvement and I'm sure this place will make a whole lot of business. NO ICE MACHINE NO VENDING MACHINE NO PHONE IN THE ROOM

We stayed a night as part of a promo of the new owner. The plans for this place sounds great. They want to develop the "club house" concept. But now, the place needs a big restoration. The rooms have very old and cheap furniture. The bathroom it's a nightmare: dirty and old bathtub and a poor cleaning. They don't have flat screens or WiFi, but have some basic cable TV service. The little balcony in the background was dirty, like they never clean this area. The room surrounding was clean. The ice machine near my room, was old and rusty. The parking is small but clean. The pool area and other places around was clean and nice. The personal is friendly and helpful. They have a security guard in the area, it's a nice thing. The outside view is amazing and you can find a lot of things to do outside the place: night life, restaurants, water park (only in summer), malls and beaches. Basically, the place will be better if the owner invest real money in the place...for now, I will wait a few years for my next visit.

I stay there back on March, they save my night by that time. The service them makes the difference. Change ownership and have plans for future renovation. Right now I recommend it for a place to stay on a night that you need a reasonable place to stay since they are promoting the new club concept and it was full of people that was taking an offer that they make of a free night so you may possible finish on a room with no view which is a very nice view.

We stayed a weekend, family of 5. We had to pay for an extra guest, because rooms are for 4. Room was clean, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, just an old TV with limit cable.Bathroom needs a deep clean, there was lime on the window. Pool was great, 4 to 12 feet. No lifeguard. There's a pool for babies and toddler. The view is just spectacular. We totally dislike the restaurant. The breakfast they offered with the room rate is bread and jelly or butter, coffee or juice, that's it. We ordered something more from the menu and everything was cold. At the end you had to go down to pay at the reception. There's no cheap food options near the hotel,

We've been there twice now and the first experience was okay, we where there briefly. The room was so confortable, 1 bed little tv, awesome sanitary area for showering and a small balcony out looking forest life. There is a huge pool with the best view of the guajataca tunnel. Now a year later ... We booked a two bed room with ocean/ pool view and we loved it. The only few negative comments is the restaurant isnt opened long enough, part of the kids pool was being repaired (which is great) the bending machines where out of service and it ment we had to go to the local store for monchies, thats something to consider before arriving (go to the store before hand)

The hotel staff where very nice. But the hotel need improvement. Water leak in the bathroom, vending machine not working, ice machine not working and no lifeguards on the pool area. The restaurant needs to improve it service and menu. If they fix this problem is going to be a good place to stay. And please coffee makers, in the cafeteria they limit you to a small cup and if you want more they charge you

If you are visiting nearby areas, this hotel can provide a nice room for you to stay, room was 304 with ocean view, which is spectacular... it has a swimming pool and tennis court, there is no restaurant but they provided a few pastries and coffee early morning. Bed was a queen size, air conditioned room, no carpets, bathroom was clean and nice. Overall it is not a vacation resort, but can provide a sleeping solution for a short time, paid around a $101.00 per night and tax. There are other rooms less expensive although not as nice.
